Just Aroung The Corner
Is this a song? wee... Anyway, I can't believe I actually finished one of my goals in life :
DRIVING A SHIFTSTICK!
Before learning the fun and art of driving, I was always afraid to try it out. I mean, my mom has been nagging me to drive since last year because she wanted another "driver" so that she can go out without hearing my father utter some grumbling words or the protests from my brother. I was the next choice left and I was also her partner-in-crime in shopping anyways so it's a good deal for us both lakwatseras. But I was the one who didn't want to drive. Since my bro got hit by a 40-footer truck, I've been wary and very afraid of crazy drivers who aren't Speed Racers but still trying to be. I'm afraid of crossing intersections for fear of being crushed. But last week, my father suddenly told me, "Go sign this form, you're going to get your student's permit." And I was like...." I WILL???" Lolz, he then told me that I'd start last Monday. I couldn't believe my ears, I was finally going to the pit of DOOM.
So came Monday and I woke up at the ungodly hour of 6am (hey, it's not right for summer!) and did my morning ritual (the usuals, take a bath, eat something and stuff) and waited for the instructor to come pass by our house since the Socialites driving school was only a minute away from our house ON FOOT. 7am passed....and i was still waiting. 7:30 passed by too and still he wasn't here yet! Finally, we heard the roar of his engine at 8am. Apparantly he didn't know that we scheduled an appointment at 7am. Man, what kind of management do they have there? Anyway, we started with the basics of turning on the car, going forward, going backwards. I was getting the hang of it except I still have to measure the amount of gas I press. Then it was time to really hit the road! I thought that they had a field or something for practice, but our instructor told me that the road was their field! SHOKE! I was so frightened when I finally rounded up the corner because of the fear I told you about. I didn't even wanna turn the wheel! But I was egged on by my father anyway and I did it.....AND LIVED TO TELL THE TALE!!
Anyway, it's been 5 days hence. I have already driven along Quezon Ave, Sgt. Rivera, N. Domingo, and of course the famous EDSA! Grabe ang traffic doon! lolz, it was an achievement for me because after only 7 hours of driving school, I was able to go to EDSA and go up along 3 bridges WITH TRAFFIC. Now I can proudly say that I am a 50% accomplished driver. I'm still a beginner and I have to steer better. I always am either too close to the right or left. And grabe the clutch still have to practice it. haha!
My birthday's coming in a week, and I'm gonna have a pre-birthday bash with my friends at Dusit Hotel tomorrow! My treat =) Overnight and swimming and EATING= LOADS LOADS OF FUUNN! woooo!
I'm really starting to sound so much like a glutton...hopefully college will stress me out enough to lose a few pounds! lolz
Oh yeah, speaking of college, I'm now finally in BS Computer Science. I shifted from Management honors to Computer Science last April and it was only until now that they said I was accepted. First they said I was denied, ngayon naman accepted, haay talaga. Pero sure, am in CS already. I'm just so apprehensive though, am I making the right decision? Good thing my uncle e-mailed a few golden words to me, I did the right thing and I can even double major BS MGT for more business opportunities here and abroad. All I can say is, THANK YOU!!! I needed that support and to know I did the right thing. Wish me luck in the future guys! I guess I'll be learning Comp speak now. lolz!! =)
Oh, pls do scroll down and read my technilicious post! haha, it's really an upbeat one. hehehe
Gotta go now! hehe

Technolicious!
Nonsensical subjects are my favorite things. Nonsensical blog posts are too. =)
I'm hungry.. and it's 11pm. Is this an illness? Or do I have some worms in my tummy?? ARRGHH!! And Tiffany C's and co's group blog
Manila Foodistas isn't helping me at all! SO MANY YUMMMY THINGS! Haha! I really like their food reviews since they're all informative and of course, they provide such delisshh pics! I think
they deserve a nomination as one of the
top most influencing blogs.
I haven't told you about the letter I received a week ago from an inmate from Orient Ohio. Somehow he got my address from a friend of his who does penpalling and he sent me a letter hoping that I'd write back. He's 26 years old, a father of a beautiful son, 5'11'' and he's in prison for drug trafficking and he hopes to find friendship. I don't know if I should reply. My first reaction to this was WHAT THE HECK??!!! But after a week's thoughts, I think I'd write him a letter too. I have heard of people who want to change for the better and usually people too are the ones that can help him change. It will be nice if I'd give some light to somebody. I don't know. Maybe I need to think more......
I've been having problems with my 5-year old Sony camera. It's bulky and slow, I mean I can't properly picture events and fast moving objects. What I love about though is it's endurance. I mean it has lived for 5 years and it's still alive somehow right? My parents granted me a chance to purchase of a Canon Ixus 970IS since our pet's vet is having a vacation in the US and I could get at least less shipping fee there. The good thing is I found a bargain at
Adorama for their very affordable
Canon bundle pack! It includes a free table top tripod (I love this!), extra 1 gig memory
card, extra battery, camera case and of course the camera box itself. My mum and I, along with Pawpi and Venice, went to Dra's house a while ago to have their scheduled shots and of course to finally get my camera! I've already installed and read the manual (adrenaline can really make you move at ultra speed) and tested all the scenes and capabilities of the IXUS 970IS/ Powershot SD 890IS and all I can say is.... YES NICE COOL!! I absolutely love it! It's 10MP is no joke, and the optical zoom is love. The features all work top notch and I'm glad to have this camera. Well, it's another 5 years till I find a new love. I wonder if Apple would make one... lolz! I'm a Mac-Fan!
Speaking of Mac, I did tell you guys that my sweet sweet mum bought me an ipod touch last march right? Well, i'm proud to say that I have more features than a normal ipod touch owner because I have jailbroken it! It's a term made (most likely) by hackers that means total control of owner over the ipod. Once an ipod touch/phone is jailbroken, it will be able to install various COOL applications and customizations for the itouch. The are endless possibilities now for my itouch. But of course the bad thing about jailbroken ipod is sometimes there are bugs that wreck your ipod. I had a similar problem when I installed the guitar hero theme for tap tap revolution (like dance dance revo, but using fingers!) and unfortunately, my ipod froze and dived into recovery mode. I panicked because the only way to undo this is to restore it which means I HAVE TO ERASE ALL MY DATA! I wanted to cry right then and there but of course, I searched online another way to restore it without losing any data and I have found them from my fellow jailbreakers. I wanna all the guys who made this possible out there.
Here's a pic of my itouch!
Hello Kitty much? haha! I've got
more themes! hehe
Just a list of my top 10 most favorite ipod touch applications
10. Twinkle - I can now do mobile twitter without having to pay for anything! Cool noh?
9. Safari - Itouch is now a micro laptop, NEAT!
8. Pianist - My dreams of being a pianist is not over, I can still piano without a piano!
7. Magic 8-Ball - Useful for useless questions
6. HuangRongDao - a game that'll BOGGLE UR MIND!! Just like a rubix cube
5. Pool - it helps pass time. I miss billiards!
4. Converter and MaCalc - A scientific calculator and converter
3. Tris - best tetris game ever!
2. Chuzzle and IZooo - love these games! have to get them 3 in 1 row
1. TAP TAP REVO!! - Super love it! Listen to tunes while tapping beats!
I've found a new fave site,
YUGATECH!! It's handled by Abe, a Filipino blogger, who lives off solely by advertising on his blog for now. He does own a few companies though. For more info, just go to his blog. Since I'm pretty much a tech-savvy person, i love to read about the latest technology deals, gadget reviews, and controversies (facebook vs google! wow) but I haven't found a site that particularly involves the Philippines market before Yugatech arrived. I'm glad I've found it! Gotta bookmark it now! hahaa =)
Well, talk again later peepz!
Updates when I update! =)

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Finally what the people have been waiting for, the long-awaited sequel to this more than 20 year old franchise! I wasn't born in the 1980's so I wasn't particularly an Indiana Jones baby but thankfully, my parents introduced me to the coolest whip-wielding archaeologist professor there is! No wonder I wished to become an archaeologist back then eh? It was an exciting job that offered dangerous adventures and I was an insatiable kid with a thirst for adventure. I don't know about now though, I've just become a bum then but anyway... onto the movie!!
Paramount Pictures gives us a look at the new Indy adventure
" When we last saw Indiana Jones on screen, it was 1938, and the world stood on the brink of war as Dr. Jones chased down evildoers to find the Holy Grail. Nineteen years later, he’s cracking his whip again, and many things have changed ... but some have remained the same. Again, the world is at a precipice, this time caused by the specter of nuclear annihilation, and Indy’s struggle is once again to ensure that a precious, mysterious object remains safe from those bent on destroying humanity."
Okay, it doesn't say much about the story itself like what's that Alien-head-shaped crystal on the movie poster? And what were the roles of Cate Blanchet and Shia?
Basically the movie starts pleasantly to the tunes of Elvis' Hound Dog while watching some kids racing somewhere in the Arizona. We're brought to some warehouse (note the number of the warehouse people!) and are introduced to the cold and beautiful Russian agent, Irina Spalko and her men. And of course, Indy finally makes his debut appreance with a bang! Irina is asking for Indy's aid to her plan on achieving great psychological power over the US using the crystal skull. As the movie progresses, Indy is joined by the young greasy Henry "Mutt", son of Marion Ravenwood (Indy's former flame), his wartime pal Mac and fellow prof Harold Oxley. The adventure takes them to a wild goose chase in the very heart of the Amazon and all of them are in the hunt to return the Crystal Skull.
I really liked this movie despite being confused at the beginning. I mean, I haven't watched an Indy flick since grade one! What surprised me though was Harrison Ford's youthful vitality and agility. That 65-year old man SURE CAN MOVE! Sure you can see the obvious signs of frailty in his appearance but it didn't show in his actions. All the action scenes were great and I can bravely say that I enjoyed this as much as Transformers, a heavy heavy action movie. The warehouse scene and the jungle chase were the best scenes for me. You just have to love the jungle scene, you just have to! But I hated the ants, I SWEAR I HATE ANTS!
Ford and Blanchett were awesome in the movie. Shia showed some maturity but I have some doubts if he'll be as good as Ford. He's.... not serious enough? lolz!! I loved seeing Karen Allen reprise her role as Marion Ravenwood. Lolz, I saw some clips of Raiders of the Lost Ark and I loved the pair of them! Am glad they got back together again. OOPS SPOILER!! I think.. ahha!
So I loved this movie. No it wasn't as good as the one wherein Indy had to grab a heart of the Indian! Many critics are claiming that it didn't have a chance against the past 3 films and I must agree. But, this film is still worthy of praise.
Go watch it peepz! Surely, you'll enjoy this sequel! =)

Iron Man Movie Review
The recent blockbusters shown this summer has triggered the movie-geek in me again. I mean who here can proudly say that their favorite site is a movie blog? Well I can, and anyway, this particular movie practically nudged me to do a review! hehe.
Superhero movies are generally money-making movies since some people are already familiar with their backgrounds and of course, we can't wait to see a new Superman or a new Batman or some other reason. The main point is that they make a lot of money therefore we still keep on seeing these superhero movies made (look, in just a few years, we're gonna get to see another Incredible Hulk movie). So no matter how small that superhero is, it's gonna make big money, but nobody anticipated Ironman -what some people call a rip-off of Batman of DC comics - t$o be HUGE SUCCESS! 100+million dollars on the opening weekend! Whoa, THAT IS HUGE! Not since Batman Begins or Spiderman or Transformers have I enjoyed a superhero movie in a long time! They say that only a few people know Ironman so they wouldn't be too sure if it would even make $70M but I have heard of Ironman from my bro WHO IS A HUUGGEE FFAANN! I also enjoyed the cartoons back then. hehe well for those who don't know Ironman, the movie, here's my own brief synopsis.
Ironman is about rich tycoon Tony Stark who was kidnapped by terrorists using his own weapons for 3 months in Afghanistan. He was tasked to build a superpower weapon, the Jericho missile, for them but instead, he built his own "Iron" (of course it's something titanium metal thing) suit and sought his freedom. Seeing the error of his ways, he tries to change his company but as always, change isn't always approved by everybody which results in pandemonium and of course, more iron suits! wee!
What made Ironman different was it was "less dark" than Batman Begins. It had more comic relief moments. The lady love wasn't a whiny heroine who was captured by the villain. And of course, the movie had Robert Downey Jr. This guys IS the movie. He brought charisma and depth to the movie. He played Tony Stark so perfectly that he probably deserves and Oscar nod, that is if he will get one anyway. The visuals are also breathtaking especially the scene when he was testing the suit! Love it! But transformers was better on VFX though.
So Ironman, could be my best superhero movie this year. It could change though, I mean the Dark Knight is coming in just a few months, and my favorite villain for Batman is there! Plus, as they say, the late Heath Ledger could give Jack Nicholson a run for money! And plus, the trailers are awesome! And Katie holmes is ooouutt! hehee =)

Speed Racer Movie Review
I have already posted this review on my multiply but I wanna share it too with other non-multipliers (lolz, that was a weird word) I figured that this blog needs spicening up and I'm trying to find specific things to do with it like do a bunch of reviews or something. I was inspired by yet again another Filipino blogger who left his day job and started blogging full time. I wanna leave a legacy on the net too, if just little by little. So here's my review of Speed Racer!!
I love all kinds of anime, animes about cooking, fantasy, blah blah but there was this particular cartoon which didn't catch my interest. It was speed racer. Sure I caught glimpses on cartoon network of a racer and a monkey but I never bothered to stay on the channel. So when it was going to be adapted for a live-action movie, I didn't know what the buzz was about and why it even deserved to be made into a movie. And when finally may 8 came, I just had this excitement to watch the movie. My mummy wanted to watch it too so there it was settled. We were going to watch speed racer.
Here's a synopsis from imdb.com for those who are not familiar with Speed Racer.
"Hurtling down the track, careening around, over and through the competition, Speed Racer is a natural behind the wheel. Born to race cars, Speed is aggressive, instinctive and, most of all, fearless. His only real competition is the memory of the brother he idolized-the legendary Rex Racer - whose death in a race has left behind a legacy that Speed is driven to fulfill. Speed is loyal to the family racing business, led by his father, Pops Racer, the designer of Speed's thundering Mach 5. When Speed turns down a lucrative and tempting offer from Royalton Industries, he not only infuriates the company's maniacal owner but uncovers a terrible secret-some of the biggest races are being fixed by a handful of ruthless moguls who manipulate the top drivers to boost profits. If Speed won't drive for Royalton, Royalton will see to it that the Mach 5 never crosses another finish line. The only way for Speed to save his family's business and the sport he loves is to beat Royalton at his own game. With the support of his family and his loyal girlfriend, Trixie, Speed teams with his one-time rival-the mysterious Racer X - to win the race that had taken his brother's life: the death-defying, cross-country rally known as The Crucible."
The trailer itself was already overloaded with bright and neon colors and I thought that it was going to be painful to watch. And it was. My family wasn't able to catch the first 10 minutes of the movie so when I stepped inside the theatre, we were already in the middle of a very confusing race and at the same time, there was story telling involved. It felt very confusing because a lot of things were going on at once at the speed the Mach 5 was in. This could probably be the cause of us being late, I don't know. So next time i really won't be late!!! So anyways, as the movie progressed, I finally caught on with the story. Mind you, I am a person who has no background regarding speed racer as in NULL, so despite this movie being a willy wonka racing version, I actually understood the movie.
This is definitely not a spiderman movie or what, but what made me give it a 4 star was because, it had an understandable storytelling for me. The brothers-directors did a good job of it. And I do love the RACES! I know rottentomatoes gave it only a 35%, deeming it rotten, and some critics HATED the races, but i disagree. I LOVED IT! Especially the grand prix! I mean, this movie is actually entertaining. Sprite and the Chimp were hilarious without being over the top. Pops was good. Though Christina Ricci was disturbing for me... but still, it was a good movie! And plus, after seeing this movie, i am practically sure that all the kids would scream, "Mommy, i wanna be a racer too!". I know I did =) hehe.
So it's a silly kaleidoscope colors of a movie but what an enjoyable movie!

I've been meaning to blog again and again, but now is the only time I seriously wanted to blog. I mean, I received a letter from an inmate from Ohio who wants to be friends, I didn't blog that yet. My ipod is in recovery mode and I most likely have to restore it but I still haven't blogged about that. And that my friend just came home from Egypt, I still haven't blogged about that but after just watching American Idol a few seconds ago... I JUST HAVE TO BLOG ABOUT THIS!!
Never in my 4 years as an idol fan have been as excited about a winner or final 2 up to now. Well maybe except for the season of Carrie. That was the best man, absolutely the best. And i stood my ground and voted for her from auditions to the finals. I knew that she was the one the moment I heard her sing. The year of Taylor Hicks was really a let down. I wanted McPhee to win but I knew Chris Daughtry was better. But Chris didn't even make it to the top 3. McPhee didn't even win over Taylor! What a disappointment. And then last year, I wanted Melinda to win. I spotted her like Carrie in the auditions and knew that she had the best vocals. But she didn't even make it to the finals so i wasn't interested in the finals much. Then this season came. The auditions came and went and I still had no pick. Top 12 already and I still had no pick but then, as time went by, I noticed DAVID COOK. He looked better, he sang with originality, he ROCKED all the songs. I noticed David A by top 24 because of my dad, he sang well but.. he just didn't have the spark! No wow factor for me. By top6, I already predicted that David Cook and David A will battle it out in the end. Top 6 was the only time I really picked David Cook as my bet.
I have never picked on a rocker, like Bo Bice and Chris Daughtry because I just didn't notice them much. Ballads and Country songs were more of my thing but there was just something about Cook. He already had a number one single on the radio before he even got out of AI but I wasn't able to hear it until last week only and yeah, I am hooked. His version was even better than Mariah's. Cook just had something. So when I watched the finals last night, I was screaming for COOK COOK COOK! But Simon was screaming, DA KO-ED DC! Wow, I became worried for Cook because usually Simon's predictions were correct. I did wish that somehow for the first time, I wished that Simon was wrong.
AND HE IS WRONG!
He knew it today when he apologized to DC, when he said that he didn't care who wins this season because they were all great. He knew it. and yes, DAVID COOK IS THE NEW AMERICAN IDOL! I'm so happy for him and yes, I even cried a little for him because I was just so happy. Never have I wanted anybody to win as much as he did because he deserved it more than anyone. Huhu......... I'm a fan David Cook, and I'm gonna support ya till the end!!
Let's thank his younger brother for forcing him to audition! YEAH THANK YOU MAN! hahaaha, it's all that guy's fault! =)
So David Cook, I'm a fan. Enough said. =)

Optimissimu
Okay, so the title's a made up word but does it ring a bell - any bell - for you guys on any matter?
Well so okay
It's my mangled word for optimism.
Since I'm much of a gaya-gaya (fil word for those who can't understand which means copycat BUT NOT IN A BAD SENSE, hopefully), I decided to join Issa's league of optimism/positive blogs so I'll probably post another one of these in the upcoming weeks, months, years, who knows. I just wanted to post something to remind me how lucky I am still. How lucky we all are and how happy we really are in the midst of all these catastrophes and chaos.
Here's my Top ___ reasons why I'm incessantly happy/joyful/exuberant/quirky/perky/silly/goofy/weirdo this past months
1. I've graduated High school. Mission accomplish for goal number one! One small step for Tiff, a giant leap for Tiffy kind! (meaning, me too? lolz)
2. Being an AYF NDA 2008. Nothing can compare to the magic of stage and friendship. I LOVE BROADWAYS! The people here, made my summer more interesting than usual.
3. I'm still alive, i wasn't killed in some tremendous earthquake. Oh, and I encourage you all to please, please, help in some way the victims of the calamity in China. 22000 have already been reported dead but I'm sure that thousands more are buried within the grime and rubble and are trapped in collapsed buildings. Donate to Tzu chi or some org like it.
4. I've met some Atenista batchmates even before the school year. Well even before the Orsem anyway. Even though the communication is only through ym or the fresh atenean site, I'm so thankful that I've met them.
5. I've commuted with my best pals yesterday. I miss riding the jeep, the LRT and i hope i get to do it again. The sense of independence overwhelms me. I realized that I, will never get lost as long as i know how to commute (and bring a good umbrella)
6. The play-offs are happening this month, i mean, this is probably why i love watching NBA, to tease my brother and to feel the excitement on court!
7. SUMMER MOVIES. US summer movies that is. There's a great line up this what with Ironman as an opening number and speed racer next, and then the Indy movie, and then Prince Caspian, Dark Knight.... OMG!!! I CAN'T WAIT!
8. American Idol is the bomb! No matter if I don't have a pick this season, I do have a bet. (Ang gulo ko noh? heehe) DAVID COOK, YOU ARE GOING TO WIN!!
9. Going back to scouting, even for just 3 days, has been a blast. I recall the endless sleepless nights, the fun at camp, the commanding and SAGO, oh boy i miss them! I also got to meet my 2nd mother and the other scouts as well! missed them all!
10. Haha, sleep late, wake up late, this is what summer is all about.
11. Okay, i gotta admit, the food and lakwatsa makes me A TON HAPPY this summer. A TON.
12. International Herald Tribune is the best newspaper, anywhere. READ IT! Great comics too! lolz, Calvin and Hobbes and dilbert are my fave! Snoopy too =)
So i think this is it. I'll probably post again next time.
Updates when I update! =)$

One less tooth
So here i am, now one-tooth-less person, blogging in this whole wide world. haha! ya heard it right, I just had a molar extraction (sepcifically, a surgery) in the right lower back of my mouth. I can feel the stitches and the emptiness... The process wasn't pretty since basically i was awake for the whole 2 hours of it (2 HOURS! 2 FRIGGING HOURS!! CAN YOU JUST SAY "LOOONNG"?) and I could hear the sawing of superficial bone and the I could feel the pushing movement up to my jaw. It wasn't painful at all, well there were a few times i had to say "OW!!" or something like that but so far it was painless. Pain did come around 8pm that evening but good ol painkillers and super cool compressors did the trick. It's my 2nd day and I can't talk much for fear of the stitches getting unstitched so it's just sigh language and right side talking for me for now then. Heehe. wanna see the tooth? Gonna post a pic later on! hehee.
Chair came over a while ago just to chat and watch some dvds! She even brought some forgot-the-name-of-ice-cream-basta-it-was-deliicciiouuss ice cream!! Ice cream and cold stuffs made up for the little pain I was experiencing.
Well I don't have much to say today, well till next time! heehee =)
Updates when I update! =) :cool

Exuberant
Wow, I didn't realize that I've been on weeks' hiatus now. I don't know if maybe I've just lost the passion to write or the ability to blog interestingly and now forced to think that I suck at this job. Hahaa! I mean look, even my blog URL has now been erased in my firefox history and isn't even on one of my saved pages anymore. what the heck? But i am once again influenced to continue due to Stephie's newly revived
blog!! OMG IT'S REVAMPED! Check it out!
Scribefire looks so much better now and there are more features! yeahh! hehee I can now post youtube videos and flickr photos but what I noticed is that all my pages are saved as drafts even if I leave the checkbox unchecked. Is it just me or is there a bug in scribefire? Oh well I'll still write using scribefire and just check using blogger. The good thing about scribefire is that they save whatever you write. Yep, IT ACTUALLY SAVES which is a good thing for me, the blogger who has the tendency to erase posts. I'm just unlucky. Or maybe I shouldn't say that or else I'll get even unluckier. Oh well.. I'm talking to myself again.
So it's summer, May to be precise and what have I done? Have i found a job that has willingly taken me in that allows minimum-pay wage? Have I learned how to drive the
streets car? Have I beaten my bro at something? ALL NO!!
NO!!!!
NO!!!
*sighs dramatically* (yeah am a drama queen, go figure)
I tell ya what I've been doing. I've been going to RCBC tower, makati (ooh cool!) to rehearse with my co-AYF NDAs (alfonso yuchengco foundation national discipline awardees! - what a mouthful!) for our broadway production of sorts EVERY SINGLE DAY LAST APRIL (either 10-6 or 1-6). Well mostly M-T-W-TH-F-S. I did absent myself twice though. and some days if Kuya Herbie was happy or because of an accident, we'll have a day off so technically it wasn't every single day. When I first learned that I was a national discipline awardee, I just thought that it was just an award that Ms. Bagsic suggested that I join so that I'd have a medal or something. I didn't expect commitments or life-changing situations. Before we became awardees, we were asked to write the usual essay of "How, as an NDa, will I be able to change the world?" Well I just wrote something about Singaporean prime minister, Lee Kuan Yew, and learning to change yourself first before you may change the world and all that
crap stuff. So when I was chosen, I didn't expect that I'd get in an organization that really changes lives. Ironic isn't it? Well it's irony for me anyway. And to think that in other schools, it was either the valedictorian or SCCB president who gets this award and that some even fight for this because of the ahem... cash award (7.5 dude!! 7.5!!) I thought that it was really cool!
But of course, the 7.5k was depleted because of gas, food and stuff you needed when you go to Makati everyday and you live an hour away from the place. What made this experience very special was the people. The peepz made it happen. The peepz made this summer one of the most memorable and unforgettable event of my life. I mean look, praying wouldn't be the same anymore (right guys?) and I would always look for one of Marck's crazy adventures, or my adopted daughter's high-pitched voice (but who has A BOOMING SINGING VOICE!). Life would go on but some things wouldn't be the same anymore. I look at a giraffe and I would go - HEY TRIXIE! or something. This summer will be full of nostalgic memories, and I hope that I'd be able to go to our outing this Sat. Due to unfortunate circumstances (__rents. you gets?), i'm not sure if i'll be able to go. Darn! So guys, I just wanna say thank you. Thank you!!!!!!! *hugz*

April's also a month of debuts, a month of watsalaks and you can all check them out of multiply! I'm just so glad that I'm able to catch up with my bestest buds Daynel, Chu, Bobs and Chair while the sun hasn't set yet. I can proudly say that I've been to all of their homes and that we've done a lot of things together as a barkada na! Heehee over night uli!! lolz, mum will kill me!!!
Another awaited event for me last April was our EK escapade which was organized by Franz and attended by me, Jin, Daynel, Matt, Chu and Lourdie! That event was a series of Pacheese-burger commercials which they have so pleasantly enlightened me on the idea why everyone was so crazied about it. I mean, PACHEESE BURGER NAMAN KAYO OH! haaha lolz! Anyway, aside from getting extremely WET from the rapids and log jam, I had a splendid time! I missed you all my SJ friends and I long for the Baguio trip that we'll be having in 2 years time! (FRANZ AH!! SABI MU!!! heehee)
ayan kami!!! heehee RED NA RED!
Movies and series of course, rain or shine, will always be inside my heart home so I've been acting couch potato after practices (no wonder I didn't get thin despite all the buckets of sweat) and watching shows like
Ugly Betty season 2!
House season 4!
Pushing Daisies! LOVE IT!!
Disney movies (I GOT THEM AT A BARGAIN! ORIG AT 150PHP! hehe)
IRONMAN!!
and more! I've got a lot of movies here at home pa and there are some that I want to watch but haven't had (or no dvd!) yet like Pathology! US summer movies have officially kicked in and I can't wait to watch them all! Ironman WAS FREAKING GREAT! I mean greater than spidey 2 and 3 but i think batman begins still kicked ass but still, IRONMAN WAS DA BOMB! I was able to watch it 2x and it's just the 4th day! Addict ain't I? Sure there were some cheesy lines and predictable moments but at least there was no whiny heroine, no lunatic screaming madmen, and whatnot, but the greatest thing about the movie was IT HAD SUBSTANCE AND PLOT. You got it, even though you aren't a comic book fan. You just got it. lolz. and Robert Downy Jr. is the perfect Tony Starks. Just go watch it and you'll know what i mean. The movie even distracted me from my aching feet (oh i forgot to tell you guys the story of how my brother, chair and I walked all the way from rcbc tower to powerplant. well it was april 30, and the whole family wanted to watch it. since my bro and chair watched my performance and we were done at 5-6, mum told us to go ahead to powerplant and hitch a taxi. unfortunately... no taxis were available and we just walked it off. 45 minutes of nonstop walking in polluted was NOT invigorating i tell ya. it's actually dusty and smoky. we even had to pass by a red light district! i never thought that I'd be so happy to see powerplant!!)
I'll be getting a molar extraction surgery tomorrow and I'm scared. I'm supposed to be helping with the JLTC but I can't. I won't be able to go to the Chimes meeting tomorrow too. Oh what a tooth extraction can do! IT CAN KILL A PERSON'S APPETITE. But it can make me thinner? LOLZ! Aneroxia here i come! heehee. so there i'm scared. And Stephie narrated to me the ordeal she has gone through.... OH WHEN WILL IT END?? Lord help....
Tita Rose has been learning how to do nail art designs (you know like the ones here
from a Korean woman who does these seminars for free. My mum was the first model for the whole nail thing but unfortunately Happy our shih tzu gave birth yesterday (3 puppies!) so she couldn't go yesterday. I took her place and now look, 3 of my fingers have nail extensions! There's no art yet, but I can't wait till next tuesday! or wednesday? That's the next session! haha! It is harder to type though... hehee
lookie at the last 3 fingers! last 2 is the whole nail thing, third one is the extension! hehe. looks real nh?
I think I'll be able to blog again. Or not. No guarantee! But in the meantime, catch my pics on my multiply!!
www.jynxedpanda.multiply.com! GO VISIT! =)
and btw, CONGRATS TO MUMMY SCARTYY! I know that this is soo belated but let's congratulate the mommy for bringing another cute child into this world last April!! weee!!

DAVID COOK! YOU ARE THE MAAAN!!
