Hey guys! :hehe Man I was suprised when I saw that some of you guys were clamoring for updates and I just posted today! So sorry but was really busy.. I've been visiting your sites this week though but haven't commented coz of my budgeted time. But now I think I'm free so am gonna go do my bloghop today! I'm thinking of going random (when have I never been random?? :haha) again just because my mind is a bit jumbled up right now and I have no particular topic to write about so beware! heehee
Yay! The other computer (in this case the one I'm using right now) is finally fixed! I forgot to tell you about how it died last week. Whenever we tried to start it, there'd be a message that says press F2 and then suddenly this weird message appears and the computer kept typing periods. Has that ever happened to you guys? Weird machine but good thing it only took 3 days to repair it. But the bad news.. ALL MY FILES HAVE DISAPPEARED! Wahh and this was the computer were I stored ALL my pixels and LAYOUTS!! O, how thou art cruel! (forgive my poor Shakespearean language) Sniff... some of my assignments have been erased too but oh well.. guess I have to just start again from scratch. DL everything all over again. :wah So take GOOD care of your computers!
Remember that I told you I've been attending the drama guild at my school? (I decided not to join the writing workshop.. too scared..) Well it's been fun and we have to prepare a dramatic monologue complete with music and costumes on tuesday! Guess what/who I picked? Drumroll please......
SMEAGOL/GOLLUM!!!
To those who don't know, he's the creepy dude with 2 different personalities who keeps on repeating "My preciousssssssss...." in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I know you think I'm crazt and probably asking yourself what this poor girl has gotten herself into or if I'm in my right marbles but I am perfectly sane here. I just decided I wanted something dramatic yet with comedy and plus I can do his voice! Ever since I heard that weird guy, I kept on copying his My Preciousss... and thought that this would be a challenging yet capable role. Plus the line is short! Wooppee!! :yay lolz. Now you think I'm really crazy. Well wish me luck! =)
Wahh.. How come Yahoo Messenger doesn't work?? *told ya this post would be random??!!* NOOO!!!! Actually, it doesn't work in my account. But how come it works in my mother's account?? O come on!!! :grr
This week's menu has been a series of Western cuisine! My brother continued his culinary studies and even if I hate to admit it, he is becoming better and thus more assorted dishes! Hmm.. I can't wait to learn how to bake! We have a new oven!! Weee!!
Hey, I also can't finish watching Inuyasha due to a double-then-missing disc 11! And tot hnik that I'm only 3 discs shy of learning the ending! :grr Hmm.. I'll just review this anime for now. I think it's a really fun, enjoyable anime and I do like the pairings (does Sesshoumarou have a partner? If not... Hmm.. haha Just kidding!!) but somewhere along the way, you just want to fast-forward everything! I think it was when they were at the Pei-Ling mountain. That story was just too loong. The one where they had to take care of the 7 men warriors. But over all, I'd give this anime a 4! Hmm.. Now will look for pics... bwahahaha
I just saw my 2 long lost cousins last week and today (again)! Well my Sa-chak (3rd uncle father side) just came home last week from Bacolod (for those who don't know, that's in the Visayas region of the Philippines) and I haven't seen him for..... I forgot how many years.. around 7?? or 6?? So I was just so happy seeing my cousins and especially his youngest son! If I only had a camera or cel with me. Dang.. Have to remember to bring it next time. Well I'm sure that you'll all say that he's just the cutest thing! And quite talkative too or "loquacious". heehe. Except he mostly talks in "Bisaya" (it's a filipino dialect for those who don't know) but I could understand a little. It's a bit strange though to see my cousins who are more Filipino than Chinese (I'm a Chinese-Filipino by the way heehe :hehe) with my grandparents (they are pure Chinese.. wait.. my grandma has 1/4 filipino i think..) but it's oki. Don't think that just because we're Chinese we don't know how to get along with Filipinos. I think I'm becoming more Filipino too.. Oki now I am confusing not only you but also myself.. AHHH!!
Oh, and I think we might get a laptop soon! :yay Is Acer oki? My mom's friend suggested that one but I'm not sure.. I do want a Sony.. Sighs.. Please give me pros and cons! hehee. :hehe
And we've also been.... SHOPPING! If you know me, I don't really splurge that much on clothes, etc (except for books.. hehee can't resist a good read :hehe) but since SM Mega has a SALE, well we might have splurged a little. heheee. But mind you, after a whole day of shopping, you might wonder if there was even a sale. lolz :haha. And I've been doing some online window shopping too, thanks to Danwei! I've all went and asked these sites listed on her site which have funky goods, if they accept Moneybookers (it's a great alternative to Paypal!) since we don't have paypal here. One site replied and they'll see if they can accept it! I do hope!! And I also have my eye on these CUTE hats (PANDA!!) So if you're wondering what to get for me for my bday.. you know what.. Just kidding! *I can't believe my bday's only a month away!!* I don't wanna get old... Sniff.. :wah
And also, I think a lot of people have probs these days... I do hope you guys are doing fine now! Will pray for ya =)

SO SORRY for for neglecting my blog!! GOMENASAI!! :wah
I'm really sorry if I have neglected my blog for a week (actually not only my blog but the entire computer) coz now that it's the end of April, my sched will be jam-packed with activities! I'm happy that I fulfilled one wish this week (check out the newest cross marked in my sidebar) and that's to learn cooking! Yep, I've learned how to cook Asian cuisine (well some...) for 5 hours each in 4 days (I love Korean and Japanese!) so you could see why I've been gone.. I've also focused on learning more skills in Muay Thai (I can do back kicks now! Beware... bwahaha! :haha just kidding!) and I've also been glued to the tube again, this time watching Inuyasha. Yah I know it's an old (loong!) anime but I haven't seen that yet so when I saw a box being sold with a very CHEAP price in divisoria, well I had to buy it (and the result is hearing Japanese everywhere! I thought I had gone crazy on the 2nd straight day of watching when I heard people talking in Japanese in the gym.. Losing my mind..). It has 2 boxes though and 23 discs in all! So far, I have only 7 or 8 discs left unwatched soo.. those are the reasons why I've been gone. But I'm also gonna be gone next week.. Well consider this as a mini-hiatus now so don't worry about me (coz maybe some of you might have thought I was abducted or something.. hehee). I will only be bombarded with trainings and more TV. Hopefull I'll be able to updated every Sunday! Wish me luck guys! :hehe =)
Thanks for everyone who sent me Easter gifts! I'll go catch them and put them up here later (I have Geom and Chem later... :wah). THANKS SO MUCH GUYS!! :heart. And guess what happened to Ate Kitty's easter egg! It hatched! Boy I was surprised to see an Easter Cinnamoroll! Hmm.. I'll name her Ceanamon! Hahaa Couldn't think of a better name.. :haha Thanks again guys! :heart and glad you liked my gift! =)
I also want to thanks Ate Rad for being so patient with my questions about hosting. I changed my mind for so many times yet she was not the least angry or mad. I've sticked to my final decision though and I'm gonna stay at Blogger coz I really can't maintain a site. Hopefully next year... sighs.. Thanks Ate Rad!!

Well si I've been stuck at home the whole week doing nothing but watch TV. My butt's seriously glued on the couch. I do hope we'll be able to go SOMEWHERE (ANYWHERE!!!) later. Feels sick at home :sick. It has got me thinking though that maybe it is best for me to stay at home. It is Holy Week after all and it isn't about going to vacations (no offense sa mga nagvavacation ah!). It's about reflecting on your mistakes and repenting your sins right? It's a week for God so even though you're in vacation, please take time to pause and reflect. I'm sure that you'll feel much better afterwards =) Makes your vacation more exciting! Hmm it has also got me thinking, how the Easter Bunny and these eggs came up. When did they start spreading these symbols because Easter Sunday is about Christ's Resurrection right? Well I'll probably google them later =) Share your thoughts on this if you want in the comments. =) :hehe
So what have I been watching lately? My mother had a Korean marathon again and this time she went back watching her all-time faves: Stairway to Heaven and My Lovely (or My Name is) Kim Sam Soon. My mother is quite queer coz she says that she loves romantic-comedy but why is her favorite a tear-jerker? Stairway to Heaven is probably saddest Korean series ever produced. I mean every (and I mean EVERY) episode has someone crying over something and you can't help but cry too. I wonder how the actors and actresses put up with red, puffy eyes at every shoot. Sighs... Go watch it if you're in the mood for some good crying or suffered some sort of heart break because you'll realize.. I could have been that girl. Go to the sites if you want the synopsis, I'm not good in explaining things... hehee =)
I've also started watching Tsubasa Chronicles, an anime made by CLAMP which is a crossover of its anime characters. Steph was the one who encouraged me to watch it but since I don't have a DVD (checks pocket...empty :wah) so I watched it thu YouTube! Technology is such a wonderful thing right?? :haha Well not always. I'm at episode 7 already and it's running smoothly but I don't know. The characaters there (esp Sakura) are... too thin! I'm not against thin people but they look more like a couple of walking sticks! Makes me a bit uncomfortable.. The storyline isn't that quite impressive and I think it could have been better. I'd give it an average rating. It's not bad nor is it too good. Sorry to fans of Tsubasa.. hehe but I'll continue watching it! Who knows? I might enjoy it later on =)
Oh yeah, I've also finished an "escape the room" Game! It's quite challenging and I loved it! It took me 3 frigging hours though, so if you're completely doing nothing (like me) why don't you try?? It's called My Diamond Baby. And here's a funny video of a 2-legged dog! LOLz he's adorable so check him out! We had a 3-leggfed golden retriever once named Trinity :haha I miss her... she passed away already.... =(

Suspicions..

It's Holy Wednesday everybody! What have you done today?? *points up* haha just kidding! =) Hopefully if I have time later or inspiration, I'll think of something to give you guys at the end of the week. Man I hope we go to mass tomorrow! I miss going to the mass for some reason. My parents have been so busy... sighs...
And there have been a few enigmas yesterday... both weird and downright irritating. There was this weird-looking guy (you know, parang "thug") hanging outside our house since Monday and I am so thankful that we have a lot of guys here (we have a factory hehee :hehe) but still he gave us all the creeps. Good thing my father, the brave one, walked over to him and talked to that guy! He says that he's just a relative of one of our workers and was just waiting for him, but come on? Would you really stay outside for how many hours just for your relative? You could have waited for him at home creep! Well my father managed to boot him out (in a nice way) and he''s gone... for now :oh
The next story, my mother became the victim. No she wasn't hurt physically but mentally and emotionally yeah. You hate prank callers right? Well from friends it may be acceptable but from complete strangers, now that's another thing. I was at the gym so I didn't witness the whole conversation but this is how it went. So a guy (este gay, my mom told me it sounded like one..) called claiming to be from Citilife financial etc and was looking for a "Raquel". My bro was the one who picked up and he couldn't understand him so he passed it on to my mom. So the guy asked the same question to my mom and of course there is no one with that name here but the guy kept on insisting that my mom is this "Raquel". Again, she told him no but he still ACCUSED her of being that person and was just denying it because that "Raquel" owed them 30K php! WHAT THE??? :grr If I were with that guy, I'd want to hit him soooo bad! How can he accuse my mom of being that person without having evidence? So my mom just hung up the phone but that blasted guy called again and again and kept throwing these accusations. My mother asked for his name. Oh "Eric" daw. and my mom wanted to speak to the manager but he refused? What kind of employee is that? My mom told that guy to even check with the Bayantel people (my mom was using the bayantel) and ask who the owner is. Sighs.. the next call came from a girl and she still wouldn't listen so my mom just hung up. My mom called Citilife herself and talked with the manager but unfortunately, the one who handles their collecting department is an agency. WHAT THE?? :grr. The good thing was he didn't call back. My mom had high blood after that. So a warning to you all, be careful of who you're talking to on the phone and always have a caller ID! We don't have one you see. Sighs... Holy week pa siya tumawag! ALANG HIYA!!!!!!!! Grabe!! :grr
Sorry for that rant. I just wanted that guy out of my mind. I was so proud of my mom who handled it so well. She was trying her best to keep calm but of course who couldn't explode if a guy did that to you too? Sighs.. I will continue praying that hopefully people will be able to keep their sanity.
Man I'm still bored. Anybody wanna save me of this boredom? I've been thinking of talking about something but I kinda forgot what it was. Ulyanin kasi ako lolz. :haha And before you leave, please vote for me! That is if you want to =)

Is it just me or is Blogger loading (really) slower? Is something wrong with their server? I just noticed that it's been slowing down the past 2 days.... WHY????? :wah

I'm so bored today so I did a few hoppings here and there and continued to look for more Animal awareness sites and boy have I got some for you! Just stay tuned on my sidebar, I'll bring it higher. heehee. And please read this blog entry. It would show more info on animal cruelty and slaughtering. Oh, and a WARNING Please do not look at the pictures if you are of the faint-hearted.
I'm feeling self-conscious again, please continue to the next paragraph if you don't want to hear me whining. I really feel a bit depressed on how I look these days... I may be a bit white but my skin is definitely not smooth. Actually my hands are rough like a caveman's. My brother's hands are even smoother than mine's! What have I been doing? And my pimples haven't shown any signs of stopping. It feels like they just want to populate on this little land on my face called the forehead. I am applying these whatcha-ma-call-its on them and nothing seems to be working. Maybe "it's" near. :wah and I don't seem to be losing weight. Maybe I'm getting more muscular? Sighs.. I guess the only advantage is I can kick butt. I'll probably sign myself as an extra thug in a movie. What do you think?? :haha Sighs.. I'll not dwell on this any longer.. it's so depressing.. :wah So be lucky you're not like me!
Because of the heat, I've wanted to cut all my hair of and be like Natalie on V for Vendetta and also after watching Fearless. What would it feel like going bald? I'm sure that it would be a refreshing change. No more combing, no more tangles and no more washing. And your head would feel free!! But I changed my mind when I went inside the parlor because I don't think I can live without hair. I just had it shortened and I still look like me. Only with shorter hair. No drastic changes in my look. Told you I'm boring right? :hehe
I've been unconsciously having a movie marathon (at home that is :hihi) I've watched Fearless, Fun with Dick and Jane, Bandidas, Capote, The Dark, Capote, Breakfast at Tiffany's (oldie!!) and Ice Age 2 ( the only one I watched in the movies) since Friday. I guess I've become a couch potato again. Couch Potatoes, UNITE!! Maybe I could start a Couch Potato org. It'll be fun. heeheee and I've also started watching koreanovelas again! Heheee =)
I've noticed that soemhow this summer is going faster than the past summers. It's already April 9 and only about 10 weeks till classes start again. In my case I go back to school on April 24 coz of trainings so that makes my summer even shorter. I guess I should have cherished my other summers but I didn't and now they're gone. Time really flies fast. In a blink of an eye, you wouldn't have noticed 10 years has passed. What would I be like in 10 years? *blinks* hehe sorry nagiging pilosopo ako ngayon! :haha Hmm...
Tick tock goes the clock, tiffy's banging on a rock, tick tock goes the clock. Oops, accidentally made a haiku there. Sorry.. my mind was wandering. Well, I guess this is it! Let me go update some stuffs here now =)
Wait! Before I go, I just wanna tell everyone that next week's gonna be Holy Week! =) I always get sad when it's Holy Week because I remember the Passion of Christ. We better prepare ourselves for next week. Let's pray for the world oki? For once, let's forget all our selfish thoughts and focus on the others less fortunate for a while. After reading Reader's Digest article on the current state of Kashmir after the earthquake, I looked up to this Dr. Regan - a volunteer (volunteer!) doctor who is now out there treating people from the most serious ailments to the minor bruises. It just pains me to think that we (we have a computer!), who can probably be called FORTUNATE, are still complaining (like me) about the most trivial things while others have nothing. NOTHING at all and yet, they're content. Man I've been selfish. Who cares about looks? There are things more important to think about. So what will you do this Holy Week? Let's all think and pray =) Do what we can for others. I'll try what I can do. Like a GOOD deed. I feel better now. And I also want to recommend Cecilia Ahern's "If you could see me now". It's really a touching book about the real and what seems to be real. Go check my other Panda reads in the ETC section. Now I feel better =)

Hey guys! :yay Weird title noh? Haha actually it's Chinese for "New things or new stuffs" coz am gonna try to update this modly old site of mine. In my hope of turning this site into a site of an "environmentalist", I've added 2 webands promoting environmental and animal rights awareness. I've also added a few links (so far there are only 3) related to it (see lower sidebar) and I do hope you sign there petitions and support their campaigns! :hehe =) I'm also gonna add 2 sections called PANDA READS AND MOVIES of 2006 probably in the ETC section. Here I'll put my reviews and ratings of the books and movies that I've read/watched this year. I'll put that up hopefully later. =) And I've also added a PLUG line for all the commentors! I'm sorry if I didn't plug you guys before coz I was busy with school but now that school's 0ut, I'm FREE!! (well not really... I've got activities) . Oh and to those who are wondering where are the other links, they're in the ETC section of my blog. I'm sorry if it's so unorganized.. It's only blogger.. Hehe I've tried getting hosted but I found out that I wouldn't be able to maintain.. and plus PHP is an alien language to me. heehee. :hihi But I do try to make this blog "visitable" or at least have a friendly atmosphere. :hehe
Sighs, as I type this post, I'm sweating all over coz I've just been to the gym. After a 5 day hiatus from muay thai, I got pulverized and it's a bit hard to breathe. I will never ever prolong it that much anymore. I'm gonna continue my training but I'm so worried at the end of April coz my activities conflict each other! wahhz... I better think of a way to solve it.. :wah Oh well..
Yesterday was probably one of the most boring days of my life! I literally just sat staring in front of the PC the whole afternoon. Sims2 wasn't that addicting anymore, there's not even a crumb in the house, I couldn't go anywhere. Thanks to Steph for being there though! *hugz* :heart So it got me thinking, would you guys prefer a life of routine? Wherein everything in your future is already planned out and you're contented with doing the same stuffs all over again? Or would you rather not look at the future and just focus on the present? Sort of like Van Wilder? lolz. It reminded me of my very first ambition ( O nga, what's your first ambition?? You know, you probably dreamed of becoming a doctor or a fireman or something.. haha), when I was in Gr 1, I've always wanted to be an archaelogist because they go to exotic places! I've always wanted a life filled with wonder and adventure. That's why I love movies and books. They take you to other worlds. They let you dream. Sighs.. I hope that it won't be a dream anymore.. Panda Basking Under the Sun!
New Lay!! :yay
Did anybody noticed?? haha:haha, am not too sure on the colors so.... give me your opinions peepz!:yap I can't believe it took about 7 hours or more on this lay.. Ang bagal ko talaga!! I'm dang slow.. sorry guys for the delay ah!!
So why this layout? I've always wanted to stay true to my blog name and add a Panda on the layout but I never had the inspiration until now when a lightbulb flashed after I posted my last entry (PLS READ MY LAST ENTRY.. it's kinda important) and suddenly I thought, why not let my Panda go on a summer vacation?? Sighs... I'm yearning for a "REAL" vacation now but since I can't do it, let the virtual Panda do it. :haha. I can't talk much now coz am going to the gym in just a few minutes so just give me the reviews!

Sighs..If only I could hide like a rabbit in its rabbithole, I would do that for years. I'm currently feeling confused and dazed. Do people have high expectations of you? Well I do that's why for the past how many years, I've always strived to be the best but now.. I don't know. Maybe my energizer bunny has been eaten by a wolf or something. I'm having trouble concentrating on my studies, or anything for that matter. Steph has a prob coz someone told her that she didn't give her all, that she didn't have enough passion but that is just plain wrong because think that person doesn't know her. She knows that she gave her all but I came to think, what about me? Did I give my all? Why should I? Ugh, I hate thinking about this but I really have no choice. *slaps self* Get a grip Tiff! Oh well.. But now I'm really determined to do everything that I possibly can to make my 3rd year, a better year. My 2nd year was most memorable (I miss you guys!!! 2c!!! :wah Daynel, Jocla, Chair, Keith!!!) because I had the best class one could ever ask (uy, outing uli tayo! Oh yeah, shout outs pala to the guys who went to the Xiamen tour yesterday! Good luck ah!! Esp to Chair, Kenny, Daniel, Valerie, and the others! :yap) but academically, I slept through everything. So next year, I'm turning over a new leaf, one that could balance academics and social life harmoniously. So that means.. I think I won't even have a summer. I'll be attending our school's training workshops in hopes for better leadership abilities. You could say that I'm a very ambitious girl, but I need to be able to put these ambitions in actions... Sighs, sorry for the very boring rant.. Is this a rant? hehee :haha
And on to other news, want each and every one of you to realize one of the greatest environmental problems we've ever come across. I'm sure that you are feeling it right now, even I in my airconditioned room am screaming for cool air! Yep, Global Warming I received the latest issue of TIME magazine, and I was shocked when I saw the cover. NO NOT THE POLAR BEARS!! :grr Sorry for the outburst but I love Polar bears. I remember that I read somewhere that we were finally have the upper hand over global warming but what's this? Why are they suddenly telling us that we should be worried?? The climate has certainly been changing over the past few years and I'm worried that it will suddenly start to snow or something. Or the polar ice caps will be completed melted. We must take action! Boy I wish I had a billion dollars so I can do something. All I can do is probably support these environment-friendly products. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to lessen this humongous problem? We have to save the polar bears, butterflies, elephants, flowers, etc from damnation (pardon for the language)! It hurts me to think that I'm just stuck here doing nothing. :wah =(
Sighs.. Well it was the 4th year's graduation yesterday and I loved Clarissa's speech! Though I didn't listen to the guest speaker that much (bad tiff!), I hope that they have learned something from it and realize what's ahead of them. GOOD LUCK graduates! Wahhz... I'm gonna miss them so.. :wah
And the clearance is finally over, and now on to a relaxing summer... who am I kidding? Oh well.. if you're in need of calming yourself down or simply need God's guidance in difficult times..

HISTORY:
I decided I'd make a history for my site so that you'd all know the whys and the hows. I will elaborate further when I have my REAL site one day. So when did this "addiction" start? Well it was many years ago (maybe not THAT many, about 2-3 years ago) when my keypal Kelli (HI KELLI!) told me to check out this thing. It turned out to be a xanga blog and I was intrigued but I wasn't interested in making one. After a year though, exactly on October 29, 2004, I came across Kelli's blog again and had a sudden itch to try it out. I signed up in xanga and wrote my very first entry. My URL was http://xanga.com/jynxypanda and it's still alive! Check it out if you want, I've transformed it into a photoblog of some sort. I started out with this PLAIN red and black template and of course, I eventually got bored with it. I then searched for skins both in createblog and blogskins. I was happy with xanga but then I saw Steph's new blog in blogger. I was amazed at her skills already in making layouts and HTML so I asked tips from her and then I started my blogger account. This was the time I started getting interested in HTML. Steph also referred to me Lissaexplains.com for tutorials and I researched on my own by reading this gigantic HTML manual at our house. I learned the basics and soon I was editing layouts. I wasn't much of a layout changer so Thief's Stolen Collections survived with only 2 premade layouts. Soon, I was getting BORED with premade layouts. I decided to practice my photoshop skills and make my own like Steph. At first, my layout was supposed to be a panda under cherry blossoms on a starry night EXCEPT the background image I used was copyrighted to kagaya.com only hence I wasn't able to use it. It was a beautiful layout for me though because I loved the violet colors and the panda. It took me a VERY LONG time to finish it but all my efforts proved to be in vain. The spark of making a layout vanished and was just recently revived. I was determined to make one and Winnie the Pooh came to my mind. Why Winnie the Pooh? I have no idea. Maybe it was because of him being a bear but anyways, Winnie the Pooh sounded good and voila!

Well this was my very 1st layout so pardon for the childish image. It took me a very long time to think of what image to use. Winnie the Pooh just suddenly came to my mind and before I knew it, my hands were working on their own and this is the result! It lasted me for 5 months and I'm happy. =)

This is my 2nd layout featuring a vectorized (my first vector! Not too good..) bird (i'm not sure the species) on a branch staring under the velvet (violet) sky. When I was thinking of a new layout, I wanted it to have a touch of Christmas but not in the commercial way (gifts, lights etc). I wanted to show the true meaning of Christmas and I also wanted a layout that would last me for months (I'm a lazy bum.. hehe). Inspiration struck when our English teacher asked us to make a Korean Sijo (in English that is) and what i wrote about was a bird anticipating the birth of Christ. Though Christmas has gone, I still wish the feeling of Christmas will continue the whole year. This lasted me for a month (oMG 1 month lang?) but I may use it again. I really liked it! hehe

Hey guys! :hehe Man I was suprised when I saw that some of you guys were clamoring for updates and I just posted today! So sorry but was really busy.. I've been visiting your sites this week though but haven't commented coz of my budgeted time. But now I think I'm free so am gonna go do my bloghop today! I'm thinking of going random (when have I never been random?? :haha) again just because my mind is a bit jumbled up right now and I have no particular topic to write about so beware! heehee
Yay! The other computer (in this case the one I'm using right now) is finally fixed! I forgot to tell you about how it died last week. Whenever we tried to start it, there'd be a message that says press F2 and then suddenly this weird message appears and the computer kept typing periods. Has that ever happened to you guys? Weird machine but good thing it only took 3 days to repair it. But the bad news.. ALL MY FILES HAVE DISAPPEARED! Wahh and this was the computer were I stored ALL my pixels and LAYOUTS!! O, how thou art cruel! (forgive my poor Shakespearean language) Sniff... some of my assignments have been erased too but oh well.. guess I have to just start again from scratch. DL everything all over again. :wah So take GOOD care of your computers!
Remember that I told you I've been attending the drama guild at my school? (I decided not to join the writing workshop.. too scared..) Well it's been fun and we have to prepare a dramatic monologue complete with music and costumes on tuesday! Guess what/who I picked? Drumroll please......

To those who don't know, he's the creepy dude with 2 different personalities who keeps on repeating "My preciousssssssss...." in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I know you think I'm crazt and probably asking yourself what this poor girl has gotten herself into or if I'm in my right marbles but I am perfectly sane here. I just decided I wanted something dramatic yet with comedy and plus I can do his voice! Ever since I heard that weird guy, I kept on copying his My Preciousss... and thought that this would be a challenging yet capable role. Plus the line is short! Wooppee!! :yay lolz. Now you think I'm really crazy. Well wish me luck! =)
Wahh.. How come Yahoo Messenger doesn't work?? *told ya this post would be random??!!* NOOO!!!! Actually, it doesn't work in my account. But how come it works in my mother's account?? O come on!!! :grr
This week's menu has been a series of Western cuisine! My brother continued his culinary studies and even if I hate to admit it, he is becoming better and thus more assorted dishes! Hmm.. I can't wait to learn how to bake! We have a new oven!! Weee!!
Hey, I also can't finish watching Inuyasha due to a double-then-missing disc 11! And tot hnik that I'm only 3 discs shy of learning the ending! :grr Hmm.. I'll just review this anime for now. I think it's a really fun, enjoyable anime and I do like the pairings (does Sesshoumarou have a partner? If not... Hmm.. haha Just kidding!!) but somewhere along the way, you just want to fast-forward everything! I think it was when they were at the Pei-Ling mountain. That story was just too loong. The one where they had to take care of the 7 men warriors. But over all, I'd give this anime a 4! Hmm.. Now will look for pics... bwahahaha
I just saw my 2 long lost cousins last week and today (again)! Well my Sa-chak (3rd uncle father side) just came home last week from Bacolod (for those who don't know, that's in the Visayas region of the Philippines) and I haven't seen him for..... I forgot how many years.. around 7?? or 6?? So I was just so happy seeing my cousins and especially his youngest son! If I only had a camera or cel with me. Dang.. Have to remember to bring it next time. Well I'm sure that you'll all say that he's just the cutest thing! And quite talkative too or "loquacious". heehe. Except he mostly talks in "Bisaya" (it's a filipino dialect for those who don't know) but I could understand a little. It's a bit strange though to see my cousins who are more Filipino than Chinese (I'm a Chinese-Filipino by the way heehe :hehe) with my grandparents (they are pure Chinese.. wait.. my grandma has 1/4 filipino i think..) but it's oki. Don't think that just because we're Chinese we don't know how to get along with Filipinos. I think I'm becoming more Filipino too.. Oki now I am confusing not only you but also myself.. AHHH!!
Oh, and I think we might get a laptop soon! :yay Is Acer oki? My mom's friend suggested that one but I'm not sure.. I do want a Sony.. Sighs.. Please give me pros and cons! hehee. :hehe
And we've also been.... SHOPPING! If you know me, I don't really splurge that much on clothes, etc (except for books.. hehee can't resist a good read :hehe) but since SM Mega has a SALE, well we might have splurged a little. heheee. But mind you, after a whole day of shopping, you might wonder if there was even a sale. lolz :haha. And I've been doing some online window shopping too, thanks to Danwei! I've all went and asked these sites listed on her site which have funky goods, if they accept Moneybookers (it's a great alternative to Paypal!) since we don't have paypal here. One site replied and they'll see if they can accept it! I do hope!! And I also have my eye on these CUTE hats (PANDA!!) So if you're wondering what to get for me for my bday.. you know what.. Just kidding! *I can't believe my bday's only a month away!!* I don't wanna get old... Sniff.. :wah

SO SORRY for for neglecting my blog!! GOMENASAI!! :wah
I'm really sorry if I have neglected my blog for a week (actually not only my blog but the entire computer) coz now that it's the end of April, my sched will be jam-packed with activities! I'm happy that I fulfilled one wish this week (check out the newest cross marked in my sidebar) and that's to learn cooking! Yep, I've learned how to cook Asian cuisine (well some...) for 5 hours each in 4 days (I love Korean and Japanese!) so you could see why I've been gone.. I've also focused on learning more skills in Muay Thai (I can do back kicks now! Beware... bwahaha! :haha just kidding!) and I've also been glued to the tube again, this time watching Inuyasha. Yah I know it's an old (loong!) anime but I haven't seen that yet so when I saw a box being sold with a very CHEAP price in divisoria, well I had to buy it (and the result is hearing Japanese everywhere! I thought I had gone crazy on the 2nd straight day of watching when I heard people talking in Japanese in the gym.. Losing my mind..). It has 2 boxes though and 23 discs in all! So far, I have only 7 or 8 discs left unwatched soo.. those are the reasons why I've been gone. But I'm also gonna be gone next week.. Well consider this as a mini-hiatus now so don't worry about me (coz maybe some of you might have thought I was abducted or something.. hehee). I will only be bombarded with trainings and more TV. Hopefull I'll be able to updated every Sunday! Wish me luck guys! :hehe =)

Well si I've been stuck at home the whole week doing nothing but watch TV. My butt's seriously glued on the couch. I do hope we'll be able to go SOMEWHERE (ANYWHERE!!!) later. Feels sick at home :sick. It has got me thinking though that maybe it is best for me to stay at home. It is Holy Week after all and it isn't about going to vacations (no offense sa mga nagvavacation ah!). It's about reflecting on your mistakes and repenting your sins right? It's a week for God so even though you're in vacation, please take time to pause and reflect. I'm sure that you'll feel much better afterwards =) Makes your vacation more exciting! Hmm it has also got me thinking, how the Easter Bunny and these eggs came up. When did they start spreading these symbols because Easter Sunday is about Christ's Resurrection right? Well I'll probably google them later =) Share your thoughts on this if you want in the comments. =) :hehe
So what have I been watching lately? My mother had a Korean marathon again and this time she went back watching her all-time faves: Stairway to Heaven and My Lovely (or My Name is) Kim Sam Soon. My mother is quite queer coz she says that she loves romantic-comedy but why is her favorite a tear-jerker? Stairway to Heaven is probably saddest Korean series ever produced. I mean every (and I mean EVERY) episode has someone crying over something and you can't help but cry too. I wonder how the actors and actresses put up with red, puffy eyes at every shoot. Sighs... Go watch it if you're in the mood for some good crying or suffered some sort of heart break because you'll realize.. I could have been that girl. Go to the sites if you want the synopsis, I'm not good in explaining things... hehee =)
I've also started watching Tsubasa Chronicles, an anime made by CLAMP which is a crossover of its anime characters. Steph was the one who encouraged me to watch it but since I don't have a DVD (checks pocket...empty :wah) so I watched it thu YouTube! Technology is such a wonderful thing right?? :haha Well not always. I'm at episode 7 already and it's running smoothly but I don't know. The characaters there (esp Sakura) are... too thin! I'm not against thin people but they look more like a couple of walking sticks! Makes me a bit uncomfortable.. The storyline isn't that quite impressive and I think it could have been better. I'd give it an average rating. It's not bad nor is it too good. Sorry to fans of Tsubasa.. hehe but I'll continue watching it! Who knows? I might enjoy it later on =)
Oh yeah, I've also finished an "escape the room" Game! It's quite challenging and I loved it! It took me 3 frigging hours though, so if you're completely doing nothing (like me) why don't you try?? It's called My Diamond Baby. And here's a funny video of a 2-legged dog! LOLz he's adorable so check him out! We had a 3-leggfed golden retriever once named Trinity :haha I miss her... she passed away already.... =(

Suspicions..

It's Holy Wednesday everybody! What have you done today?? *points up* haha just kidding! =) Hopefully if I have time later or inspiration, I'll think of something to give you guys at the end of the week. Man I hope we go to mass tomorrow! I miss going to the mass for some reason. My parents have been so busy... sighs...
And there have been a few enigmas yesterday... both weird and downright irritating. There was this weird-looking guy (you know, parang "thug") hanging outside our house since Monday and I am so thankful that we have a lot of guys here (we have a factory hehee :hehe) but still he gave us all the creeps. Good thing my father, the brave one, walked over to him and talked to that guy! He says that he's just a relative of one of our workers and was just waiting for him, but come on? Would you really stay outside for how many hours just for your relative? You could have waited for him at home creep! Well my father managed to boot him out (in a nice way) and he''s gone... for now :oh
The next story, my mother became the victim. No she wasn't hurt physically but mentally and emotionally yeah. You hate prank callers right? Well from friends it may be acceptable but from complete strangers, now that's another thing. I was at the gym so I didn't witness the whole conversation but this is how it went. So a guy (este gay, my mom told me it sounded like one..) called claiming to be from Citilife financial etc and was looking for a "Raquel". My bro was the one who picked up and he couldn't understand him so he passed it on to my mom. So the guy asked the same question to my mom and of course there is no one with that name here but the guy kept on insisting that my mom is this "Raquel". Again, she told him no but he still ACCUSED her of being that person and was just denying it because that "Raquel" owed them 30K php! WHAT THE??? :grr If I were with that guy, I'd want to hit him soooo bad! How can he accuse my mom of being that person without having evidence? So my mom just hung up the phone but that blasted guy called again and again and kept throwing these accusations. My mother asked for his name. Oh "Eric" daw. and my mom wanted to speak to the manager but he refused? What kind of employee is that? My mom told that guy to even check with the Bayantel people (my mom was using the bayantel) and ask who the owner is. Sighs.. the next call came from a girl and she still wouldn't listen so my mom just hung up. My mom called Citilife herself and talked with the manager but unfortunately, the one who handles their collecting department is an agency. WHAT THE?? :grr. The good thing was he didn't call back. My mom had high blood after that. So a warning to you all, be careful of who you're talking to on the phone and always have a caller ID! We don't have one you see. Sighs... Holy week pa siya tumawag! ALANG HIYA!!!!!!!! Grabe!! :grr
Sorry for that rant. I just wanted that guy out of my mind. I was so proud of my mom who handled it so well. She was trying her best to keep calm but of course who couldn't explode if a guy did that to you too? Sighs.. I will continue praying that hopefully people will be able to keep their sanity.
Man I'm still bored. Anybody wanna save me of this boredom? I've been thinking of talking about something but I kinda forgot what it was. Ulyanin kasi ako lolz. :haha And before you leave, please vote for me! That is if you want to =)

Is it just me or is Blogger loading (really) slower? Is something wrong with their server? I just noticed that it's been slowing down the past 2 days.... WHY????? :wah
Sorry if I couldn't blog earlier! Besides the first reason, it was also because the DSL has been funny lately and it's clearly not hilarious at all. :grr I'm gonna switch cable! Are you with me? Well I'm not sure yet... Oh well =) At least it's working a tad well now. :hehe

I'm so bored today so I did a few hoppings here and there and continued to look for more Animal awareness sites and boy have I got some for you! Just stay tuned on my sidebar, I'll bring it higher. heehee. And please read this blog entry. It would show more info on animal cruelty and slaughtering. Oh, and a WARNING Please do not look at the pictures if you are of the faint-hearted.
I'm feeling self-conscious again, please continue to the next paragraph if you don't want to hear me whining. I really feel a bit depressed on how I look these days... I may be a bit white but my skin is definitely not smooth. Actually my hands are rough like a caveman's. My brother's hands are even smoother than mine's! What have I been doing? And my pimples haven't shown any signs of stopping. It feels like they just want to populate on this little land on my face called the forehead. I am applying these whatcha-ma-call-its on them and nothing seems to be working. Maybe "it's" near. :wah and I don't seem to be losing weight. Maybe I'm getting more muscular? Sighs.. I guess the only advantage is I can kick butt. I'll probably sign myself as an extra thug in a movie. What do you think?? :haha Sighs.. I'll not dwell on this any longer.. it's so depressing.. :wah So be lucky you're not like me!
Because of the heat, I've wanted to cut all my hair of and be like Natalie on V for Vendetta and also after watching Fearless. What would it feel like going bald? I'm sure that it would be a refreshing change. No more combing, no more tangles and no more washing. And your head would feel free!! But I changed my mind when I went inside the parlor because I don't think I can live without hair. I just had it shortened and I still look like me. Only with shorter hair. No drastic changes in my look. Told you I'm boring right? :hehe
I've been unconsciously having a movie marathon (at home that is :hihi) I've watched Fearless, Fun with Dick and Jane, Bandidas, Capote, The Dark, Capote, Breakfast at Tiffany's (oldie!!) and Ice Age 2 ( the only one I watched in the movies) since Friday. I guess I've become a couch potato again. Couch Potatoes, UNITE!! Maybe I could start a Couch Potato org. It'll be fun. heeheee and I've also started watching koreanovelas again! Heheee =)
I've noticed that soemhow this summer is going faster than the past summers. It's already April 9 and only about 10 weeks till classes start again. In my case I go back to school on April 24 coz of trainings so that makes my summer even shorter. I guess I should have cherished my other summers but I didn't and now they're gone. Time really flies fast. In a blink of an eye, you wouldn't have noticed 10 years has passed. What would I be like in 10 years? *blinks* hehe sorry nagiging pilosopo ako ngayon! :haha Hmm...
Tick tock goes the clock, tiffy's banging on a rock, tick tock goes the clock. Oops, accidentally made a haiku there. Sorry.. my mind was wandering. Well, I guess this is it! Let me go update some stuffs here now =)
Wait! Before I go, I just wanna tell everyone that next week's gonna be Holy Week! =) I always get sad when it's Holy Week because I remember the Passion of Christ. We better prepare ourselves for next week. Let's pray for the world oki? For once, let's forget all our selfish thoughts and focus on the others less fortunate for a while. After reading Reader's Digest article on the current state of Kashmir after the earthquake, I looked up to this Dr. Regan - a volunteer (volunteer!) doctor who is now out there treating people from the most serious ailments to the minor bruises. It just pains me to think that we (we have a computer!), who can probably be called FORTUNATE, are still complaining (like me) about the most trivial things while others have nothing. NOTHING at all and yet, they're content. Man I've been selfish. Who cares about looks? There are things more important to think about. So what will you do this Holy Week? Let's all think and pray =) Do what we can for others. I'll try what I can do. Like a GOOD deed. I feel better now. And I also want to recommend Cecilia Ahern's "If you could see me now". It's really a touching book about the real and what seems to be real. Go check my other Panda reads in the ETC section. Now I feel better =)

Hey guys! :yay Weird title noh? Haha actually it's Chinese for "New things or new stuffs" coz am gonna try to update this modly old site of mine. In my hope of turning this site into a site of an "environmentalist", I've added 2 webands promoting environmental and animal rights awareness. I've also added a few links (so far there are only 3) related to it (see lower sidebar) and I do hope you sign there petitions and support their campaigns! :hehe =) I'm also gonna add 2 sections called PANDA READS AND MOVIES of 2006 probably in the ETC section. Here I'll put my reviews and ratings of the books and movies that I've read/watched this year. I'll put that up hopefully later. =) And I've also added a PLUG line for all the commentors! I'm sorry if I didn't plug you guys before coz I was busy with school but now that school's 0ut, I'm FREE!! (well not really... I've got activities) . Oh and to those who are wondering where are the other links, they're in the ETC section of my blog. I'm sorry if it's so unorganized.. It's only blogger.. Hehe I've tried getting hosted but I found out that I wouldn't be able to maintain.. and plus PHP is an alien language to me. heehee. :hihi But I do try to make this blog "visitable" or at least have a friendly atmosphere. :hehe
Sighs, as I type this post, I'm sweating all over coz I've just been to the gym. After a 5 day hiatus from muay thai, I got pulverized and it's a bit hard to breathe. I will never ever prolong it that much anymore. I'm gonna continue my training but I'm so worried at the end of April coz my activities conflict each other! wahhz... I better think of a way to solve it.. :wah Oh well..
Yesterday was probably one of the most boring days of my life! I literally just sat staring in front of the PC the whole afternoon. Sims2 wasn't that addicting anymore, there's not even a crumb in the house, I couldn't go anywhere. Thanks to Steph for being there though! *hugz* :heart So it got me thinking, would you guys prefer a life of routine? Wherein everything in your future is already planned out and you're contented with doing the same stuffs all over again? Or would you rather not look at the future and just focus on the present? Sort of like Van Wilder? lolz. It reminded me of my very first ambition ( O nga, what's your first ambition?? You know, you probably dreamed of becoming a doctor or a fireman or something.. haha), when I was in Gr 1, I've always wanted to be an archaelogist because they go to exotic places! I've always wanted a life filled with wonder and adventure. That's why I love movies and books. They take you to other worlds. They let you dream. Sighs.. I hope that it won't be a dream anymore.. TC now! :hehe

Did anybody noticed?? haha:haha, am not too sure on the colors so.... give me your opinions peepz!:yap I can't believe it took about 7 hours or more on this lay.. Ang bagal ko talaga!! I'm dang slow.. sorry guys for the delay ah!!
So why this layout? I've always wanted to stay true to my blog name and add a Panda on the layout but I never had the inspiration until now when a lightbulb flashed after I posted my last entry (PLS READ MY LAST ENTRY.. it's kinda important) and suddenly I thought, why not let my Panda go on a summer vacation?? Sighs... I'm yearning for a "REAL" vacation now but since I can't do it, let the virtual Panda do it. :haha. I can't talk much now coz am going to the gym in just a few minutes so just give me the reviews!

Sighs..If only I could hide like a rabbit in its rabbithole, I would do that for years. I'm currently feeling confused and dazed. Do people have high expectations of you? Well I do that's why for the past how many years, I've always strived to be the best but now.. I don't know. Maybe my energizer bunny has been eaten by a wolf or something. I'm having trouble concentrating on my studies, or anything for that matter. Steph has a prob coz someone told her that she didn't give her all, that she didn't have enough passion but that is just plain wrong because think that person doesn't know her. She knows that she gave her all but I came to think, what about me? Did I give my all? Why should I? Ugh, I hate thinking about this but I really have no choice. *slaps self* Get a grip Tiff! Oh well.. But now I'm really determined to do everything that I possibly can to make my 3rd year, a better year. My 2nd year was most memorable (I miss you guys!!! 2c!!! :wah Daynel, Jocla, Chair, Keith!!!) because I had the best class one could ever ask (uy, outing uli tayo! Oh yeah, shout outs pala to the guys who went to the Xiamen tour yesterday! Good luck ah!! Esp to Chair, Kenny, Daniel, Valerie, and the others! :yap) but academically, I slept through everything. So next year, I'm turning over a new leaf, one that could balance academics and social life harmoniously. So that means.. I think I won't even have a summer. I'll be attending our school's training workshops in hopes for better leadership abilities. You could say that I'm a very ambitious girl, but I need to be able to put these ambitions in actions... Sighs, sorry for the very boring rant.. Is this a rant? hehee :haha
And on to other news, want each and every one of you to realize one of the greatest environmental problems we've ever come across. I'm sure that you are feeling it right now, even I in my airconditioned room am screaming for cool air! Yep, Global Warming I received the latest issue of TIME magazine, and I was shocked when I saw the cover. NO NOT THE POLAR BEARS!! :grr Sorry for the outburst but I love Polar bears. I remember that I read somewhere that we were finally have the upper hand over global warming but what's this? Why are they suddenly telling us that we should be worried?? The climate has certainly been changing over the past few years and I'm worried that it will suddenly start to snow or something. Or the polar ice caps will be completed melted. We must take action! Boy I wish I had a billion dollars so I can do something. All I can do is probably support these environment-friendly products. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to lessen this humongous problem? We have to save the polar bears, butterflies, elephants, flowers, etc from damnation (pardon for the language)! It hurts me to think that I'm just stuck here doing nothing. :wah =(
Sighs.. Well it was the 4th year's graduation yesterday and I loved Clarissa's speech! Though I didn't listen to the guest speaker that much (bad tiff!), I hope that they have learned something from it and realize what's ahead of them. GOOD LUCK graduates! Wahhz... I'm gonna miss them so.. :wah
And the clearance is finally over, and now on to a relaxing summer... who am I kidding? Oh well.. if you're in need of calming yourself down or simply need God's guidance in difficult times..
