Olllaaa my friends! Again, I have been MIA the past couple of weeks due to SCHOOL STRESS, STRESS and MORE STRESS! hehe If you guys visited my tumblr, I have a pic there of my planner which was instantly filled the minute I got back to school. Practices, projects, trainings and paperworks have now become my flesh and blood. Going online and chatting with you guys is just one of the perks. Now I have to finish my FINAL draft on my English research paper and I hope to God that it's OK! hehe. :p
Anyway I was in the mood to blog. I mean I've been meaning to blog coz I found these AMAZING innovations on the internet. Who says that the youth and society are getting dumber? NO EFFING WAY! If people could mass produce mini-shelter homes or a bag-chargers, then the world would be a better place. Look at these fantastic creations
The Uber Shelter"Dismantled, the Über Shelter looks like a large gray gurney. But this
compact pile of aluminum unfolds into a two-story home, complete with
lights, stove, porch and a small refrigerator. Rafael Smith, a senior
in the industrial design program at Purdue University, designed the Über Shelter for his undergraduate thesis project.
On a vacation in Manila the summer before he began the project, he was
shocked by the crushing living conditions of those in poverty; when he
got home, he began researching the architecture of shelters around the
world. With no previous knowledge of refugee camps, he sought the
advice of doctors, policy makers aid workers and a Sudanese refugee he
met online."
Soo Cool! It's just sad that it was inspired by Manila in a bad way... well it's now good because it could hopefully solve a few of our problems (and he might send a few free ones too! hehe).
SOLAR BAG"Joe Hynek may be the only student at Iowa State University
who carries a handbag for “scientific purposes.” On cloudless days, he
wanders his neighborhood to test whether the purse, which is plated in
thin solar panels and contains a lightweight battery, is absorbing
energy from the sun. After three hours of direct exposure, the purse
generates enough electricity to charge an iPod, camera or cellphone.
(The bag will also charge — more slowly — if placed next to a window.)
Mr. Hynek is currently working on the final touch: a small display
screen that will indicate when the purse is best angled for absorbing
the day’s light."
I'd love to have a bag like this! Man, you could charge anything now and it'd save you LOADS on electric bills! hehe just wish they'd improve sa design pa. :p hehe
ELEPHANT STUFF"Lily Chong and Matt Kalish, both 21-year-old juniors majoring in
industrial design, thought about interactive toys for the assignment,
perhaps two tigers whose eyes would light up when a child touched the
paws together. Then one day the class was critiquing student projects,
and someone dismissed an idea as “That’s so gay.” As students debated
whether the phrase was offensive, the professor stepped in to steer the
class back on topic. But some students left the class feeling awkward.
You couldn’t just ignore the issue or bury hurt feelings.
Ms.
Chong and Mr. Kalish started thinking about elephants instead of
tigers. Rather than being the figurative thing unsaid, maybe an actual
elephant in the room could help people talk about difficult subjects.
They came up with the idea of stuffed elephants that would communicate
via wireless chips buried inside their soft centers. If one person in a
room squeezes an elephant for three seconds, all the other elephant
eyes light up. “It lets everyone know there’s an issue, we have to talk
about it,” Ms. Chong says. The person raising the concern remains
anonymous. "
It'd be a cool giveaway and a neat tool for learning in my opinion. Plus it looks SUPER CUTE!! goodness! hehee
I've also expressed here in my blog my admiration of a few people, namely Robert Downey Jr., Johnny Depp, Bill Gates and especially
STEVE JOBS (co-founder of Apple AND Pixar!!-- my future job place! well i like to think so anyway). My lappy and panda-touch wouldn't be here right now if it weren't for him. Microsoft would just be boring if they didn't have any competition at all. Jobs brough something to the game! I just read an article on the latest
TIME magazine concerning the possibility of Jobs' retirement (GASP!) due to his health problems (hormonal imbalance thing, he had pancreatic cancer then, grabe... hope he's OK..). Now we've seen Gates' step down from his mighty position and Microsoft is still on the roll. But what IF Steve Jobs leaves Apple? MacWorld survived the experience without Job's notable Keynote address which was instead precided by Phil Schiller, a candidate for the next CEO if ever Job's retires. He did a decent but without the "presence" of Jobs. Jobs was an innovator and everyone simply have to lend their ears to this Houdini who has LOADS of things to say.
I do hope he gets well soon.. I mean Apple still has a lot of potential! Now that it has covered mobile phones, they might probably go into printer/scanner/whatever things. He'd probably create a new line of something spectacular... so hopefully the imagination of Apple doesn't die out yet... PLS!!!
Sorry for the passinate rant. I'd love to work for Apple/Pixar but with Steve Jobs still sa head! hehe.
I've actually have a lot more things to say. Like the time....

Shopping for the Kid at Heart
I'm still a kid (well i would like to think so anyway) since I haven't crossed the border between the teen to the -tee so yeah, I still act like a kid. Especially this season of love, generosity and hope!! I do love the Christmas season and I especially tend to get carried away with it. Especially the gift giving and receiving part...it's the kid in me you know.. So I can't help if I would want a new
DS game or a
PS3 game or a set of Rockband instruments perhaps? I've recently found a love for that game since you can actually play like a real band - as a group and sing/play your heart out without actually disturbing the song. Cool ain't it? haha. So I've got a shopping list of
video games here which I found at this awesome site called
ShopWiki.
I would also want a PSP you know because of that
Patapon game which Honey Lynne lent me during the leadership program. It's such a weird and interactive game! You can't help but sing along to your little tribe, "Pata-pata-patapon!!" or "Chaka-chaka-patapon!!"!! haha That made me laugh so much!
And PC games, how can I forget them. I mean they were the reasons I first went to type the keyboard at the wee age of 8! I'd play Jumpstart all day long and I'd learn at the same time. I also got hooked to the very first
PC game, doi, The Sims! Man, even though it bored a lot of people out, I quite enjoyed them. Gosh... haha.
I guess now it would be more tempting to buy because of....
SHOPWIKI! It's such a useful search directory/engine to all the shopping stores that you can find! I mean they give you the power to search with the range of prices and show stores that give the best deals! There are also guides to help you pick the best game for you there. There are also related searches which will give you more choices to choose from. And if you sign up now, you might get an ipod nano. Whoa!
Now if I only have the cash. Seriously though, i want to buy a new DS game or at least a UMD. My DS has been hibernating for a long time. I must bring it out of the shelf and give it some exercise! hehe. I'm going to post my real wishlist here soon. I've never done it before. I guess I must try. Hopefully I'll be able to buy at
ShopWiki next time! :p

Xin de yue ding
新的約定。。。
還沒看到你。。。。只會想念你。。。Haha disregard second line! To those who can read Chinese... SSSssshhh nalang! lolz. Well basically my subject is how you read the first line "xin de yue ding". It literally means New Agreement or as I'd prefer to call it,
New Promise. It's a promise to myself sort of. To start a change. Throw away the old conventions (okaaay.. maybe not exactly throwing away! haha :hehe) and welcome new friends (hi new linkies! :yay). As you can see I've done the first one by making
my FIRST ever video blog/vlog! Scroll down to watch my *belated* Halloween message if ya haven't watched yet. Or of course, if ya just want to see me make a fool out of myself, you're welcome to! hehe. Thanks sobra sa positive feedback lolz even though I still think I talk like a child/boy. I never did like my voice... haha i'll probably do another one soon! =) But have to be discreet... I don't want my mum and dad to know I'm doing these... lolz!!
And about something new... I'm absolutely DYING to change my layout because Panda has long been gone on a vacation! I must revamp this site coz... it's already a mess if you can see. lolz! I already have something in mind and I need the artist's permission to use his characters (ano kaya un?? haha suspense!! lolz) so I'm not sure when it will be done but IT WILL BE DONE this year! That's A FACT! hehe.
I need help though, would you guys rather see a site mostly composed of NEON or PASTEL colors? Tag me or comment and I'll gladly do it! I'm having trouble choosing you see... hehe thanks! =)
And I want to start anew in college again. I don't know. I'm just determined more to make it better. To become better at my academic performance (DEAN'S LIST! I WON'T LET YOU GO AWAY!!), to increase school spirit (maybe it's time I get a school shirt.. I don't even have a PE shirt yet...), to mingle more with orgs and blockmates (asides from card playing! i wanna bond! lolz) and to... do something i don't know yet. lolz! :haha. I'm weird like that..

Me, Chair, Chu, Joan
I had such a blast last Halloween night coz it was also my friend Jasmine's debut!! She really had an original idea (well for me anyway coz I haven't seen one like it) for her theme and i loved seeing everyone in hats! Haha I love my mom too coz she found the ridiculously pinkish-floral-with-dead-bird-on-top hat!! haha I won a PHILLIPS DVD PLAYER! lolz. Fun fun fun! =) Glad to see my barkada (Danelle isn't there though!! wahh) and my high school third year family!! They're simply the best for me.... sighs... how did ya spend your halloween night? Or All Saint's Day? hehe.
Oh here's another new thing I wanna try... COSPLAY!! SShhhh again... I know I haven't watched anime for a long time but I've watched a good deal and still be able to call myself an anime fan. Just that.. after the party last Oct 31, it was just fun to dress up! lolz. Problem with cosplay is the costumes and actually becoming the anime character you portrayed! Here's a
cosplay blog in case you don't know what cosplay is. I'm just a bit disturbed when girls portray guys... I'm sorry...but I really do find it weird! Pics gotten from
here!!

Lineage II Dark Elf
Amazing dedication! Is that really WHOLE BODY PAINT?

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi - Suzumiya Haruhi
She looks... so much like the character!! I love it!

Naruto - Uchiha Sasuke
Fierce!! But as I have said... girl portraying guys... but anyways I like it!
One thing that will never change in my blog is movie news. SWEAR. You'll read about movies, watch about movies and talk about movies here!! lolz. I'm such a movie geek that I hope to work in film someday! (Taking Computer Science as a course is my first step!)
Here's a trailer of Slumdog Millionaire, one of my most awaited films this year! I first heard about this in one of my favorite movie blogs that it was showing in the famous Toronto Film Festival and it WON people's choice award!
Cinematical who did a super review gives a good summary,
Fans of director Danny Boyle's work will find much to appreciate in his latest film, Slumdog Millionaire
, a sweeping, hopeful story about a boy in the slums of India who becomes an instant celebrity after he wins millions on India's version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?. Adapted by Simon Beaufoy (The Full Monty, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day) off the novel Q &A by Vikas Swarup, the tale is framed within an interesting narrative structure that revolves around the young man, Jamal, being interrogated for fraud by the police, who cannot believe that a "slumdog" orphan could possibly have known the answers to the questions on the show.
Another Indian film on my watch list! So far, I am enjoying IMMENSELY Indian films as I have told ya about The Namesake and I have also downloaded Bride and Prejudice (Indian take on Pride and Prejudice) which was pretty OK. Some stars in The Namesake would appear on Slumdog and I can't wait to watch them! yey!!
Here's the trailer! =) :hehe
Now I'm so sorry for another long post! Urgh... Just have so much to say.. Maybe I'd vlog it next time! :hehe =)
Updates when I update! :cool
***EDIT!!
Ate Yesha gave me a Halloween message! Aww ang cute! =) Thanks ate ah!! *hugz* I've also joined some contests
*points to sidebar* haha! Wish me luck! :P =)

I've also joined this
special contest on winning Moleskin's notebooks! They have gorgeous paper such as this pic

Well ya have to write a short story using only one sentence and here's my entry.
One midsummer night's eve, the remnants of a snow flake inconceivably spilled its teardrops on a little girl's notebook of sorrows: life, death, and memory.
Hope that's okay!! hehe =)

Jhoice,
Jeru,
Karen Ken, and
Sha!Thanks also guys for supporting me sa last post! I know it was loong... so sorry for my new readers. I love long posts for some reason.. Or maybe it's because I'm really loquacious. Haha!
I'm open to link exchanges guys!! =) :hehe
To all those who haven't heard... this is the new trailer for High school musical 3!!!
Okayz.... I was kidding. hahaa! :haha This is just a spoof, fan-made video courtesy of
Slashfilm who thought that it was brilliant to mix the Saw and High School Musical franchise together. Lolz! Now I don't think it would be a box office smash hit but lolz~ I liked the way they mixed the scenes and when Troy Bolton/Zac Efron suddenly held a pair of knives! Lolz!! Hahhaa. It's October, bee happy for the Halloween season.
and i just watched HSM3!! THE REAL ONE!! It was a blast! If you're a senior now in high school, I'm sure that all of you can relate with it. Even I a recent graduate, is already reminiscing the days... the plays... the fights.... the WINS!! My gosh... I super miss high school! It's not an Oscar-worthy show, but it's all about fun, friends and high school! It's definitely BETTER than the SECOND!! I can't say that it's as good as the first though coz... none of the songs are catchy enough to get stuck in your head unlike Breaking Free. Lolz!! Haha but nevertheless... the songs and DANCE MOVES ARE GREAT!! as in!!!! Watch it guys!! =) :hehe
Speaking of Halloween season, what guys are you planning to do on Halloween? Are you going trick or treating? I wish I did, it's been 7 years since my first and last trick or treat. I'm gonna spend it the old school way and have a horror movie marathon! Yey!! I love horror movies sans/EXCEPT for the torture gore ones like Saw. Urgh, i detest senseless movies about blood and gore and cutting off one's limbs. I'd rather be spooked out or crepped out rather than grossed out in a very bad bad sense. Zombie movies are okay, just not Hostel or Saw. Go suggest peepz!!
And I'd suggest one of my own finds from
Slashfilm again. Trick 'r Treat. Hehe it's a new premise and it's kinda creepy that they use kids to spook grownups out. There is just something VERY CREEPY about children who are gonna attack ya. Brrr!!! Here's the trailer and I think it's AWESOME!!
I'm keeping this short coz it's brown-out here (THE
THIRD FOURTH TIME THIS MONTH!! WHAT THE HELL??) and the battery's gonna be dead in a few minutes. URGHHH!! :grr Wish my family luck and pray for us guys.... Our lot has been sold and hopefully at a right price and if the other lot gets sold again... we're finally getting our own house... our OWN house!! We're just renting out this recidence see, and I can't wait to leave the place. I know I'm going to miss this so much since I've stayed here for 10 years already but.... there are more perks in moving!! whoot! lolz. :hehe
Well gtg now!!
Updates when I update! :cool

The Loser Standing Small...
"I dont wanna talk
About the things weve gone through
Though its hurting me
Now its history
Ive played all my cards
And thats what youve done too
Nothing more to say
No more ace to play
The winner takes it all
The loser standing small
Beside the victory
Thats her destiny"
- "The Winner Takes It All" from ABBA
I am so LSS (last song syndrome) with this song, not because of the latest Mamma Mia movie (that was shown ages ago anyway :p) but also because I CAN ACTUALLY RELATE TO IT for two reasons.
1. Winner : My Super Sure Self
Loser : Me too
After the final exams, I was already sure that I won't make it to Dean's list with a SUCKY MATH GRADE. Then the results of our overall final grades came out and our QPI. The QPI for dean's lister and all is at 3.35 and guess what my grades were?

How joyful noh?? NOT!!! I was this close... this freaking close... .02 close to becoming a DL and I didn't make it. Even though I already expected my grades to be like this, I never expected the feeling of confirmation. The feeling that your nightmares have been confirmed and strangled your dreams. I'm the loser. And frankly I don't know who the winner is. I really have to do well in Math and English now. I just feel so bad in English because I'm giving out what I think is my
best but frankly my professor doesn't think so. But how come, my literature grade is BETTER?? WHY?? I mean my essays. Is it really a test of personality for the prof? Or is it my incapacity still as a student? I should be happy with these grades but I'm not. I'M PISSED. :grr :dead
NEXT SEMESTER! YOU'RE GONNA BE OWNED MATH! I WILL TAKE YA DOWN!
2. Winner : mum and dad
Loser : no one in particular, me again I think
ABBA, as in THE ABBA, is coming to Manila!! :yay My parents are ABBA uber fans so they're definitely going and Mom promptly dragged me along with them. Haha! I like ABBA too but the thing is... I'm sure i'll be surrounded by folks older than my years so I'll really feel left out... Rihanna and Chris Brown are coming over too but I know I won't be able to go coz I have no one to go with and my brother isn't here. Urgh. Sighs... This is cool still though, I get to watch a concert. :yay!!
Did I tell ya that I lost my camera a month ago? My English groupmates and I were doing a video for Lit and used my camera. But alas after trekking and taking the LRT, the freaking camera is just gone... poof! Out of the bag. I thought someone was playing a trick or something but it's already over a month and it's still gone. I have no more spare cameras left because my brother brought the newest camera to Portugal. Thing is he's not even uploading pics... Shucks... this is bad... :(( Anybody got a spare camera? Or wanna sell their old one? heehee :hehe
I'm also in another predicament. My friend's debut is themed "Mad-hatter style" so we have to wear the craziest hats around! But I have absolutely zero clue on fashion. I don't know what to wear nor what hat to wear! Crap. hehe any suggestions anyone??
Urgh, I wanted to blog about something else. But these issues got the best of me. :((
Good thing I met up with my barkada a while ago!! (YES! COMPLETE AGAIN FINALLY!) We had to discuss our yearbook plans with the publisher along with other mishaps from school (ANG GULO NILLAA! especially about publishers!). We were able to clear out a couple of things but one more meeting is needed to finalize everything. Just hope everything goes as planned so they can begin printing already. Then my best friends and Jan met up with Franz and my other BFF, Chu-chu!! haha. Miss her so much! It's hard to think though... us 4 are enjoying our lives crazily during our sembreak while my other best friend is out there working on grueling homeworks. Urgh. If ya need anything Chu, am just here!! Gosh, met up with a lot of High school friends and I can't believe how I miss them so! Haha I hope our first Batch reunion pushes through this November 8! it mustt! :hehe

L-R Chu, Daynel, Joan, Me and Chair!
Top (L-R) : Jan, Franz
OMG... i bloated because of that darn tooth! Wahh :wah
My mother and I did our first in months SHOPPING SPREE! Whoa, ang daming binili especially gifts for *cough cough* and SHOES! hehe pics will be posted.... kung may cam na :( :wah
Well i guess this is it! :hehe
Updates when I update! :cool

Freedom...freedom!! *sings*
I am so sorry for not blogging earlier guys. :wah I still feel uncomfortable with this tooth predicament and I am now feeling this weird twitches. There was even once when I felt this TICKLISH feeling and of course the itchy feeling of the lower teeth area. I hope that this would be gone by TOMORROW because I'm going to visit my high school tomorrow! I super can't wait!!! hehee :hehe
Sighs.. I'm tired of bread... that's all I've been eating since Thursday. Hopefully I lost some pounds already..:hehe
My mom just told me a piece of good news yesterday! There's a possibility that we might go to Dubai and stay over at my mom's friend's house! Whoot!! I've been wanting to SEE *take note, see, i can't afford to spend a night in these hotels!* the uber mega famous hotels of Dubai like the
Burj-Al-Arab hotel! :yay
"Designed to resemble a billowing sail, the hotel soars to a height of 321 metres, dominating the Dubai coastline. At night, it offers an unforgettable sight, surrounded by choreographed colour sculptures of water and fire.
This all-suite hotel reflects the finest that the world has to offer. With your chauffeur driven Rolls Royce, discreet in-suite check in, private reception desk on every floor and a brigade of highly trained butlers who provide around-the-clock attention, you can be assured of a highly personalised service throughout your stay."
from the site
@_@ butlers?? haha! And despite being a small country, Dubai is very technological advanced so being a gadget freak, I won't be able to help but drool all over the place! This dream has yet to become a reality this December. I HOPE that it will be a reality *prays*
To all my American friends out there, i know that the presidential election is near and all of you have problem either Obama or McCain in mind (personally, I think Obama would win!!) but here's just something to tickle your funny bone. I was browsing over
Cinematical's posts and found an array of obama-mccain "movie posters"! Super laughtrip lang!! I have nothing against the candidates but it sure is a fun parody :p. Especially Step Brothers,
Dumb and Dumber, etc! :haha
Onto a more serious note, this presidential election, or ANY for that matter, is a life-changing event. That is why it is so IMPORTANT to ponder over the abilities of the candidates and VOTE for your country's leader. It's just saddening to think that some people actually throw away their FREEDOM to vote. I mean people, you have a democratic country which PEOPLE have fought for the PEOPLE's good welfare and you're just throwing away centuries' sacrifices? As a citizen, one must take it a duty to take care of their homeland, their country. I don't know... I'm just saying that people should think it over carefully and not shotgun their votes. May the Lord help us.
If you haven't read my previous post *the one right before this* and watched the trailer for
Persepolis, PLEASE DO! I'm encouraging you all to watch this little animation especially in times like this to further understand the freedom that we have.
I've been meaning to write about the situation with my brother but I think I'll save it for another day. It'll be another long post and i don't want to be dragging anymore. Well tc now!! :hehe
Updates when I update! :cool

My brother's going away this Saturday. Away = away for 6 months in Lisbon, Portugal to "study". OF COURSE HE WON'T BE JUST STUDYING! I can't believe that he's finally going to my dream continent (haha sorry Asia...) and to Lisbon. The beaches there are fabulous right? He'll be able to capture our heritage (my father says I'm part portugese coz great great great grandad was one. I don't know if it's true) and experience their culture firsthand. He'll be able to meet and talk to great people, eat great foods and see great sights. The lucky guy! And the best thing about going to Portugal is the chance of roadtripping to other parts of Europe. Oh well, good luck to him then. Sad to say, I'm gonna miss that sucker too, I mean 6 months is a long time and I have no one to bother in the house. EEEPP. For the meantime, I'll just stare at these pics.

Anyway, I'm in a very download mood! Maybe it's because I just recently debated the pro side of piracy and I have been itching to catch the movies I wanted to watch but I didn't get the chance to because a) the movie wasn't distributed in the Phils b) it's a classic and I can't find a DVD anywhere, fake or not c) I really wanna watch/read/rewatch/reread it now!
So far I've downloaded a total of 6 movies! Thumbelina (aww it's a classic and I can't find it anywhere!), Amelie(really wanted to watch this, didn't get the chance last time), The Nightmare Before Christmas(another classic that I sorely miss), Into the Wild(haven't watched yet but downloaded already, really good they say), Son of Rambo(really good one too!), Mean Girls(finally watched it! and it is good as they say), Anne of Green Gables series(there's a mini series! I can't believe it!). I've even expanded my download files with comic books and mangas! Comic books are really expensive and I just didn't want to fork out that much so I download them instead. Watchmen and Fables are going into my files. Will read them when I have the time now. hehe
I've found something VERY INTERESTING courtesy of Slashfilm. Somebody actually BUILT a real hobbit house! Take a look!

Adorable isn't it? The owner apparantly is an exteme environmentalist and decided to take a step further in helping Mother Nature by actually building an eco-friendly house.
Get these cool features!
- Fridge is cooled by air coming underground through foundations
- Skylight in roof lets in natural feeling light
- Solar panels for lighting, music and computing
- Water by gravity from nearby spring
- Compost toilet
- Roof water collects in pond for garden etc.
The interior is absolutely beautiful. I suggest you go to this

Shopping made easy!
I haven't bought anything online for a while because it's just so hard to find for the specific thing that you want. I mean, you get the feeling right? Even after hours of searching, nothing was able to suit your taste so you give up. But I've found a site that's clean, user-friendly and easy to use for your online shopping needs! Head over to
Shopwiki and you'll see why.
Shopwiki instantly gives you the options to find the specific item that you want through categories and more subcategories. It's really useful since for example, I am looking for a
backpack for college, and I so happen to want a Cartoon-designed bag, once I click backpack, I'll be instantly led to a page where I am given more options to customize my backpack. Additional information for the buyer is given and this is what I like about it. I have an overview of the products that I am viewing instead of just a garble of pictures and prices. Major brands are also listed at the bottom in case you mean to find a specific brand. Even
indoor light fixtures have categories so that you will be able to beautify your home accordingly.
Shopwiki also gives a hand to the confused and fickle one. It will help you find a product for a specific occasion like, this
Father's Day! Get your dad that awesome headphone or the guitar that he's been wanting since forever. Not only dad gets a gift, but your mom, boss, nerdy people can get one too! Shopwiki also offers helpful links that will help you further personalize your search and item.
Shopwiki is so neat (Not much ads!!) and so easy to use, you'll wonder why you never found it before. I hope that I'll be able to use Shopwiki in the future, and I'm sure that they'll provide a very secure and good service.
So shop easily with
Shopwiki! =)

Broken Mirror
PLUGS: Ate Scart, Angela
How come I have a feeling that I've broken a lot of mirrors and walked under a LOT of ladders? This year is turning out to be a "death" year because recently, Paris just passed away (I encourage you to read my last post - a tribute to my favorite dog) and just A WHILE AGO, as in AN HOUR AGO, Kelly just died. Kelly is our 10-year old Golden Retriever and whose brother Einstein ALSO died this year. What is going ON?? I don't know if it's just the weather or if it's really their time already but seriously, Jody, Einstein, Kelly, Paris, Britney have all died this year. That's like 5 dogs! We entered this year and thought that we'd end it completely but no, we have to say goodbye to our dearest family members. It makes me wonder if there will be more to come. My mom just took Rocky (our champion retriever at 8 months) to the vet and he was diagnosed with a blood parasite. GREAT GREAT GREAT. And I think I've been bitten by a tick on him when I killed it. And boy did I have fun SQUASHING THAT BUG!
Sorry if I sound so morbid again. Sighs, and to think I wanted to share so much about the other happy events that happened last week. Field trip to Ocean Adventure and Jest Camp in Subic wasn't exactly the best ( I slept most of the ride there, it's TOO FAR) but I did enjoy Madison the sea lion. She's just gorgeous! Well, except for the halitosis, she's a beauty! And also the dolphin show! I LOVED IT! Makes me wanna sign up as a volunteer and train the dolphins myself but I know I can't. Darnnit! Maybe this summer. Who knows what might happen? My sembreak so far has been, BLAH and HOHUM. Nothing is happening at all. I wanna give a shout out to all my friends out partying in another countrty though. (DANELLE!! How are the square watermelons??) Here are some pics by the way of my field trip. Check my multiply for more pics!!!

Madison!

Wee Dolphin!

4C gals!

T-B: Keith, Mayb, Me and Chair
Next was the 3b Mcdo Reunion! Man I missed these guys (my class last year!) and a reunion was just what we need. Unfortunately only 20 of us attended but it's okay, there'll be more naman, di ba? hehe! Thank you so much to Franz for organizing this event, I know I wasn't much of a help. hehe. So we became kiddies again and wore party hats, played NOT-SO-KIDDIE games, drank mcdo beer (kidding!) and just basically hanged out. It was really fun to see us just laugh and sing "Go Go Power Rangers" and especially see Ms. Bagsic play these corny games! Haha! Am so glad we had this kind of party guys =)

Me and My Party Hat! (nevermind the nickname)

3b Together Again

Ronald McDonald LIVE as a kid! heehe
It was also Jasmine's Birthday on the Oct. 31 and Timms' and JV's bday on Nov. 2! Let's all give them a high five for turning a year older! Yey!!!
I've been dreaming a lot lately and i love it. When we dream, we undergo the ultimate sleep mode right? So we feel instantly refreshed after dreaming. But this morning, I woke up screaming, "WHAT WAS THAT??" I dreamt another morbid dream that probably just came out of a horror movie! I dreamt that there was this Zombie virus spreading here and my family and friends were trying to fight these zombies off. But some of them actually turned into Zombies and I was forced to shoot them. The gun I had was pretty sleek too and it worked beautifully! There was even a point that we all thought Paris (I dreamt of her! yey!! soo happy..) was dead but she was just stuck at the top of the tower and I had to save her! And I did. Well I have no idea how it ended. I kinda forgot. But this has got to be one of the weirdest dreams I've ever had. The weirdest is still me drinking orange juice. You cannot just dream of drinking orange juice and get sick. You just can't! But I did. Oh well..
What else have I been doing... oh yeah! I've also stumbled upon a socializing business called Yuwie. It's a socializing network which works exactly as Friendster and MySpace but has one catch, it actually PAYS you to do it! WHAT?? Well I'm just starting out so I still don't know any results. I do hope I get some cash now because I really really want to help my parents now more than ever since business I think is not doing so well. I must find a way to help them. Well please do help me guys and click this link and sign up as well! They pay for referrals and pageviews so please do click. Hope that you can help me =)

Those who have signed up, this can get ya a LOT of pageviews!! Thanks soo much guys!! *hugz*
Well gtg now peepz!
Updates when I update =) :cool

HISTORY:
I decided I'd make a history for my site so that you'd all know the whys and the hows. I will elaborate further when I have my REAL site one day. So when did this "addiction" start? Well it was many years ago (maybe not THAT many, about 2-3 years ago) when my keypal Kelli (HI KELLI!) told me to check out this thing. It turned out to be a xanga blog and I was intrigued but I wasn't interested in making one. After a year though, exactly on October 29, 2004, I came across Kelli's blog again and had a sudden itch to try it out. I signed up in xanga and wrote my very first entry. My URL was http://xanga.com/jynxypanda and it's still alive! Check it out if you want, I've transformed it into a photoblog of some sort. I started out with this PLAIN red and black template and of course, I eventually got bored with it. I then searched for skins both in createblog and blogskins. I was happy with xanga but then I saw Steph's new blog in blogger. I was amazed at her skills already in making layouts and HTML so I asked tips from her and then I started my blogger account. This was the time I started getting interested in HTML. Steph also referred to me Lissaexplains.com for tutorials and I researched on my own by reading this gigantic HTML manual at our house. I learned the basics and soon I was editing layouts. I wasn't much of a layout changer so Thief's Stolen Collections survived with only 2 premade layouts. Soon, I was getting BORED with premade layouts. I decided to practice my photoshop skills and make my own like Steph. At first, my layout was supposed to be a panda under cherry blossoms on a starry night EXCEPT the background image I used was copyrighted to kagaya.com only hence I wasn't able to use it. It was a beautiful layout for me though because I loved the violet colors and the panda. It took me a VERY LONG time to finish it but all my efforts proved to be in vain. The spark of making a layout vanished and was just recently revived. I was determined to make one and Winnie the Pooh came to my mind. Why Winnie the Pooh? I have no idea. Maybe it was because of him being a bear but anyways, Winnie the Pooh sounded good and voila!
PAST LAYOUTS
POOH'S PARADISE V.1
Born on: June 26, 2005
Well this was my very 1st layout so pardon for the childish image. It took me a very long time to think of what image to use. Winnie the Pooh just suddenly came to my mind and before I knew it, my hands were working on their own and this is the result! It lasted me for 5 months and I'm happy. =)
STARING UNDER THE SKY
Born on: Dec. 27, 2005
This is my 2nd layout featuring a vectorized (my first vector! Not too good..) bird (i'm not sure the species) on a branch staring under the velvet (violet) sky. When I was thinking of a new layout, I wanted it to have a touch of Christmas but not in the commercial way (gifts, lights etc). I wanted to show the true meaning of Christmas and I also wanted a layout that would last me for months (I'm a lazy bum.. hehe). Inspiration struck when our English teacher asked us to make a Korean Sijo (in English that is) and what i wrote about was a bird anticipating the birth of Christ. Though Christmas has gone, I still wish the feeling of Christmas will continue the whole year. This lasted me for a month (oMG 1 month lang?) but I may use it again. I really liked it! hehe
PINKISH BEAR REALITY
Given on: Jan. 4,2006
Added on: Jan. 27, 2006
This layout was a gift from my adorable online sister,
Ate Kitty! Isn't it beautiful? I was really surprised when she gave me this because I didn't know that anyone would go so much trouble for giving me a gift.. wahhz.. Love ya ate! :heart

Like the time....
.........I ERASED THE TRASH BIN WITH MY 37.9GB WORTH OF DISNEY/PIXAR MOVIES!! (55 movies in all!!) So yeah, I had to download them again. 5.11gb down. 32 more to go!!

Hope that's okay!! hehe =)

:hehe

I suggest you go to this
site and read more about it and view more images. Someday, I might actually consider living in a house like this. Or even for a vacation home. What do you guys think??
Well I guess this is about it. TC guys!!
Updates when I update! :cool

4C gals!
