Conquering my fear..... FOR 3 TIMES!!

Wee I was just updating my Jaiku's and Twitter and Flickr a while ago. Jaiku and twitter are two free programs that basically lets you post little messages online that serves as your mini blog. Yey am back from camping! Actually that was 2 days ago but I really needed a whole day of constant sleep to revive myself! I feel like the time when electricity was drained out of Pikachu, completely lifeless! But now that I've got my energy back, it's time to tell it all!!
Not exactly all, I can't explain everything because... it's just so complicated! Camping was both fun and intense and by intense I mean INTENSE HEAT! The time we arrived there, the temperature was already skyrocketing to about 38C or something since you could actually hear the grass crinkling. There were gusts of wind but still, it felt like an oven. If I thought the heat in Manila was bad, I never ever felt that intense heat before! Well so we all departed around 6:30am (Thursday) from school (I was late again... sighs..) and arrived there at exactly 9:30. The trip really didn't take that long since there was no traffic yet. The minute I saw the campsite, I knew that it was going to be different. We weren't on a mountainside no more and the place was certainly 5x bigger, make that 10x!! So man, it'll be hard for all us trainees! Mind you that this camping isn't all about fun. It's about scouting training too. I won't go into any details concerning abo0ut that though =) So basically we did everything according to the plan except for some teeny weeny adjustments but so far everything went well.
Wahh we just weren't satisfied with the SPLts performance but I still pray to please dear God, ayusin nila kasi kaya naman nila gawin lahat. Maging seryoso lang sila kahit sa SAGO nila, pwede naman magsaya eh pero dapat sa tamang oras. I really hope I see some big improvements this week! Oh I was also able to use the Taboo words I got from Kuya Jester and Kuya Jolenz! Salamat po sa inyo!! hehee!
Then of course, we had our not so traditional hike on Friday. (it was traditional for the sake that we had a hike every year but now more, MUDDY AND WET!) Man, did you guys noticed my title? I just discovered how extreme my fear of heights was, I think it was more on Vertigo though but anyways, I had to overcome it for 3 times! The first time was during hiking, we were supposed to take an extreme trail that required us hike steep slopes. I even froze during some moments but i'm so thankful for Ma'm Winnie and Raich! They kept me grounded. I ended up being the muddiest person there because I had to CRAWL my way for fear of falling. It was cool though! I got to see a spider that looked exactly like the spider that spiderman was bitten! It was black and had a red emblem on its back! REALLY NEAT!
I had to face again my fear when we had to cross 2 trees by being suspended on a cable! Actually this was the easiest to face because when I was finally in midair, I felt.... how cool! I wanted to do it again! The last time I had to face it was when we were going rappeling. Now this is SCARY. You had to climb up this 50ft wall, and then go down by walking on the wall while holding on to a rope. I'll never forget the feeling of being up so high with only a bar separating you from the floor to the ground below.... AHHHH!!!! I think it gave my heart quite a beating exercise.
So all in all, I enjoyed my camp! Despite all the queasiness or heat that I felt, I can honestly say that I enjoyed it =) I'd go back there agaiN! weee!! =)
Oooh and look what arrived when I came home!!
Wee it's a Nintendo DS Lite!! All in it's immaculate glory!! Thank you CUZ GIS!! My bro and I have been clamoring for a new game console and we thought that the DS had some cool games (actually what my bro really wanted was a PS3 but we're still waiting for ze price to go DOWN so there) so there! Me mum finally agreed when she saw how different the price was in the US! I mean you could get it for 6k only! Again I can't thank my cousin enough!! *hugz* Weee now I have my very own virtual doggy! Her name is Pea and she can sit, lie down, jump, spin and shake already! hehehee
Who here watched American Idol last week?? OMG I was enraged when I heard that Melinda got booted off!!! I know that maybe she didn't have that much personality but she was improving yet she got booted off??? WHY IS THAT? NOW I AM NOT GONNA WATCH THIS YEAR'S FINALS! I mean it! I don't care who wins now. It's not because my pick didn't win, I mean even if she didn't win it but I at least expected her to be in the finals! But now.... sighs, goodbye AI. Goodbye! Till next year!!!
So summer's been doing well I think. I'm still studying at the review center and I'm still going to school in the mornings. It's only 3 weeks left till school and I am not so ready! I still have so many things to do and I can't stop thinking at what will happen this school year! I know my section na pala! Section C ako!! Sino dito C?? haha! Oh well, Tc guys!

Again, thanks to everyone who made me feel like today's worth living again. Thank you!!
Election day had been one sort of peaceful crazy day. I mean, I feel so enraged that they would call it "peaceful" when it fact, some PEOPLE died on that day because of them ballots and candidates! Sighs, what people would do for power noh? I'm losing hope na nga eh kaya, I'm now really considering migration. I just don't feel too keen with Philippine politics anymore, I mean my parents didn't even vote! And my brother refused to register. So what the hell does this mean? Oh well...
So I've been busy with scouting and review classes this week. I also attended my FIRST and LAST Judenites workshop. lolz! Hope the teacher remembers me but I doubt it! hahaa.
I'm gonna be busy for the next 3 days coz I'll be a camp! It's the first time in 3 years since I'll be going camping but at a nice location! (I hope!) We used to go to this camp in Laguna but now it's in Batangas! Hopefully it has a cooler climate!! Wee can't wait for camping! I think I'll be updating via twitter but I'm not even sure if it works so... oh well! See you guys on sunday! See yaz! OH AND I HOPE MELINDA GETS IN THE AI FINALS! hhahaa! that was random. Oh and pls do vote for Thief's Stolen Collections for Best Blog Design!

Tired Splinters

I'm baack!! My hand hurts while I'm typing right but I'll still try to compose a sensible post. But my posts are never sensible, is it? lolz! hehee. Not only does my hand hurt from all the lashing (it's the process of tying bamboos together) but my whole body is sore from all the running around (obstacle course!!) This is what my training has been my friends. Terribly tiring but surprisingly fun! And plus we don't forget the fringe benefits (I lost weight DAW!! yey!) I'm happy with what I've done but of course there may have been some doubts concerning about my training in the beginning but I think that everything's OK now =) This is the farthest that I can talk about it because there's still one more day of training! It's really unfortunate that I can't go though! Now on to other things!!
Because of the training, I've been sleeping rather late therefore I couldn't check on my e-mails nor log-in my neopets or mylot! =( Good thing that I've been earning a little through referrals! hehee. I couldn't bloghop either so I'll try to do that later. I still have a lot of things to do... Sighs..
It's on to computer camp starting tomorrow~! Bobby says the dress code is sports attire but what does sports have anything to do with computers? I can just imagine myself racing against people while carrying computers. What a different sport eh? lolz! Then the week after is another training week for scouting and I'll be continuing my review classes. somehow, I kinda miss math (ugh!! did I just day that??!!) but still, I don't like it. I'm half-way done on the 2000 pc puzzle!!! Man, I really HAVE to find to finish it, not to mention my neglected books! TIME! WHERE ARE YOU???!!
Well I'll try to post more next time!! =) I also joined Candy's teen blog awards just for fun. It's just something worth remembering by. lolz If you want to vote for me though, pls go here!!

I swear, my head is about to explode into scramblish smitereens any minute now!! ARGGHHH!!!!
Man, even my activities prevented me from blogging AND mylot! I wasn't able to open up any discussions on mylot nor replied to any. This must be the reason why my rating's descending instead of the other way around! But at least I have $5 already in my account and I only need $5 more to reach my minimum checout. And I also got 3 referrals! Yey! =) And I sold my Angus, Thongs BOOK (not the real kinds. lolz :haha) aleady so money's piling up. Now I just have to edit my joke and it's off to reader's digest for you!
I've finally graduated from Ateneo!! No, not from a course coz am still at high school but from their problem solving program. One thing that I can say about this program is..... it's FULL of problems which you really have to spend HOURS just to solve it therefore, the scrambled brain. Last Wednesday was our last day of lecture and we tackled on Mathematical models but I mostly spent time talking to my seatmate! lolz. But still, I think i learned more with a talking seatmate than absolute silence. But right after that, I went to Daynel's house to start prepping for our Junior Leadership training =) We already finished with our STA chart and Attendance chart and next, my job is to type the whole training proposal. I really do hope everything goes well. =) Goo OOZIES! lolz! What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear that word? It's nice to have feedback.
Thursday was graduation day (Ateneo thing) and I really really wondered how the heck will that run through because I didn't think we needed any but I was surprised because I learned a lot from Mrs. Queena's talk (dean of math and science i think) but it was really hard to LOOK at her because she EERILY resembles my first year adviser. Without the glasses though. Still, it was freaky.... Well so my cousins and I and a lot of Saint Jude people received our certificates! It ives you a warm feeling inside... lolz!

But my classes aren't over! I spent the whole Friday and Saturday studying Calc and reviewing for entrance exams that after 4th year, I just want to spend a WHOLE MONTH away from studies! Yep, that's the first thing I'm gonna do when I graduate high school (man it feels so weird saying that). Today's my only rest day coz my JLTC training starts next week. Then it's off to the greenlands for me and Bobby and next next week (La salle computer program).
I did have my fun moment though like after graduation, I tagged along with my cousins because they had their interview at Makati Gospel (they're gonna transfer schools) so my mom, dad and I went to the Fort! I FINALLY ate them delicious Krispy Kremes! Sorry I wasn't able to take any pictures because we devoured them easily. I swear, they taste like heaven! YUMMM.... We were also able to go Hobbes and Landes and bought some neat puzzles !I finally got my wish and I got a 2000 pc puzzle! We already finished almost 1/4 of it.
I've got some freaking sad news too.... Our 8-year old dog died yesterday from internal bleeding... just like Hollywood the first. She looked so cute pa rin and it pained me too see her in so much pain so I was a little glad when she was finally relieved. That's 5 dog deaths in one year and it's not even half the year yet. Wahhh pls God... :wah I'll continue to pray instead..

HISTORY:
I decided I'd make a history for my site so that you'd all know the whys and the hows. I will elaborate further when I have my REAL site one day. So when did this "addiction" start? Well it was many years ago (maybe not THAT many, about 2-3 years ago) when my keypal Kelli (HI KELLI!) told me to check out this thing. It turned out to be a xanga blog and I was intrigued but I wasn't interested in making one. After a year though, exactly on October 29, 2004, I came across Kelli's blog again and had a sudden itch to try it out. I signed up in xanga and wrote my very first entry. My URL was http://xanga.com/jynxypanda and it's still alive! Check it out if you want, I've transformed it into a photoblog of some sort. I started out with this PLAIN red and black template and of course, I eventually got bored with it. I then searched for skins both in createblog and blogskins. I was happy with xanga but then I saw Steph's new blog in blogger. I was amazed at her skills already in making layouts and HTML so I asked tips from her and then I started my blogger account. This was the time I started getting interested in HTML. Steph also referred to me Lissaexplains.com for tutorials and I researched on my own by reading this gigantic HTML manual at our house. I learned the basics and soon I was editing layouts. I wasn't much of a layout changer so Thief's Stolen Collections survived with only 2 premade layouts. Soon, I was getting BORED with premade layouts. I decided to practice my photoshop skills and make my own like Steph. At first, my layout was supposed to be a panda under cherry blossoms on a starry night EXCEPT the background image I used was copyrighted to kagaya.com only hence I wasn't able to use it. It was a beautiful layout for me though because I loved the violet colors and the panda. It took me a VERY LONG time to finish it but all my efforts proved to be in vain. The spark of making a layout vanished and was just recently revived. I was determined to make one and Winnie the Pooh came to my mind. Why Winnie the Pooh? I have no idea. Maybe it was because of him being a bear but anyways, Winnie the Pooh sounded good and voila!

Well this was my very 1st layout so pardon for the childish image. It took me a very long time to think of what image to use. Winnie the Pooh just suddenly came to my mind and before I knew it, my hands were working on their own and this is the result! It lasted me for 5 months and I'm happy. =)

This is my 2nd layout featuring a vectorized (my first vector! Not too good..) bird (i'm not sure the species) on a branch staring under the velvet (violet) sky. When I was thinking of a new layout, I wanted it to have a touch of Christmas but not in the commercial way (gifts, lights etc). I wanted to show the true meaning of Christmas and I also wanted a layout that would last me for months (I'm a lazy bum.. hehe). Inspiration struck when our English teacher asked us to make a Korean Sijo (in English that is) and what i wrote about was a bird anticipating the birth of Christ. Though Christmas has gone, I still wish the feeling of Christmas will continue the whole year. This lasted me for a month (oMG 1 month lang?) but I may use it again. I really liked it! hehe

I've finally graduated from Ateneo!! No, not from a course coz am still at high school but from their problem solving program. One thing that I can say about this program is..... it's FULL of problems which you really have to spend HOURS just to solve it therefore, the scrambled brain. Last Wednesday was our last day of lecture and we tackled on Mathematical models but I mostly spent time talking to my seatmate! lolz. But still, I think i learned more with a talking seatmate than absolute silence. But right after that, I went to Daynel's house to start prepping for our Junior Leadership training =) We already finished with our STA chart and Attendance chart and next, my job is to type the whole training proposal. I really do hope everything goes well. =) Goo OOZIES! lolz! What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear that word? It's nice to have feedback.
Thursday was graduation day (Ateneo thing) and I really really wondered how the heck will that run through because I didn't think we needed any but I was surprised because I learned a lot from Mrs. Queena's talk (dean of math and science i think) but it was really hard to LOOK at her because she EERILY resembles my first year adviser. Without the glasses though. Still, it was freaky.... Well so my cousins and I and a lot of Saint Jude people received our certificates! It ives you a warm feeling inside... lolz!

But my classes aren't over! I spent the whole Friday and Saturday studying Calc and reviewing for entrance exams that after 4th year, I just want to spend a WHOLE MONTH away from studies! Yep, that's the first thing I'm gonna do when I graduate high school (man it feels so weird saying that). Today's my only rest day coz my JLTC training starts next week. Then it's off to the greenlands for me and Bobby and next next week (La salle computer program).
I did have my fun moment though like after graduation, I tagged along with my cousins because they had their interview at Makati Gospel (they're gonna transfer schools) so my mom, dad and I went to the Fort! I FINALLY ate them delicious Krispy Kremes! Sorry I wasn't able to take any pictures because we devoured them easily. I swear, they taste like heaven! YUMMM.... We were also able to go Hobbes and Landes and bought some neat puzzles !I finally got my wish and I got a 2000 pc puzzle! We already finished almost 1/4 of it.
I've got some freaking sad news too.... Our 8-year old dog died yesterday from internal bleeding... just like Hollywood the first. She looked so cute pa rin and it pained me too see her in so much pain so I was a little glad when she was finally relieved. That's 5 dog deaths in one year and it's not even half the year yet. Wahhh pls God... :wah I'll continue to pray instead..
