Blessings and Curses
PLUGS: Miranda, Ate Rad, Ate Scart
Weee! It's becoming a habit, this no-updating-for-weeks thing! hehee.
It's raining men... Alleluia...it's raining men!
I don't mean it's raining gorgeous hunks but I meant raining cats and dogs... My god, I didn't know the power of prayer until now! Everyone must have already heard that the Philippines is having a dry spell and our dams are being depleted but since we started praying the prayer for Rain during the morning ceremonies, it DID rain and boy, after 3 days of praying, A TYPHOON CAME! thus NO CLASSES and me BEING able to UPDATE~ Wahoo!! :yay
It's both a blessing and a curse. You see people have been craving for rain right? And yep un came in due abundance but it somehow damages the small businesses like ours. We can't possibly have any absences in our factory coz we really need the moolah. Thank goodness we still have work today though or else me dad's gonna go mad! haha. And yey for no classes coz MY GOD, as usual SJCS fully BOMBARDED us with tons of projects that you don't know what to do first! Last and this week was HELL WEEK! Come on, we had our retreat, filipino street/breakdance showdown, UPCAT, english occasional report, filipino impersonation project, TLE project, religion powerpoint presentation, MAPEH flower pot design, Hua wen exam, MINOR PERIO EXAMS, Persuasive speech and who knows what I haven't written yet so it's so nice to have a break! It gave me an additional 4 hours of sleep =) But of course the sad news is everything's resched. We were supposed to take our MAPEH and Religion exams today but it was moved to next Thursday (we're now obliged to go to school next thurs! HUHU) and now I don't know when the Filipino impersonation thing is now. Oh well..
A lot of things have happened (me just listed them down) but I really can't forget this year's retreat. Again it was another blessing and a curse (at first). My classmates and I were furious that our retreat was resched to Jul. 31-Aug 2, coz Hua wen (chinese language) exams AND UPCAT were going to welcome us back after the said retreat! WHAT THE? And there were projects galore. So we all thought that morning of Jul. 31 that we weren't going to have fun or reflect at all and just study (I brought my books! I can't believe I brought them on my retreat! lolz!)
If you're really close to me or if you're a 3Berrific person, you'd know na hindi ko kavibes section ko (ayon, nagtagalog na rin ako, it's so new! it means that i don't feel the vibes in my section). Kasi tingnan mo, parang de ja vu nanaman, I am again separated from my closest buds (TAMAGOCHI!!!!) and I don't know 85% of my class THAT WELL so how was I gonna have a successful retreat? Good thing Eddie, Chair, Keithy and Jenni were in my section or else I'd have died.. I missed 3B everyday, like Glen's and Franz's antics and Alfred's melancholy wanderings or even the teasings! It was just so different, 4C was so different. But then magic happened in our retreat. I don't know, our retreat just SPARKLED! To quote Clara from her multiply "akala ng tagaytay ready n cla para sa 4c but they thought wrong..." And she was right! We flooded it with waterfalls and disinfected the whole retreat house with lysol! We did so many goofy and wacky and serious moments together. We shared some things that I never imagined that we would share. I never knew I'd get along with everybody. I try to, I really try, but now I'm so happy that we have become, (in Val's words) FAMILY. So let's all forget (but NOT entirely) our 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 3E differences and volt in with 4C!! Yey! I LOVE YA 4C! Sparkle!! I am soo glad that we had our retreat early... haha!
THANKS ALSO TO YOUR RECOLETTERS! You don't know how much they mean to me... THANK YOU!!!! =) Me cherish them forever! Salamat Joan sa BEAUTIFUL BOX na ginawa mo! =) *hugz*
Another important event that happened was the Filipino breakdance competition. No, we didn't win but everyone didn't care coz we all had so much during practices! It was truly a bonding experience! I mean, I was so hesitant to join at first coz I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DANCE! Seriously I have 2 left feet, makes me wonder why SOMEONE forced me to join but now I'm thankful to you coz it was one of the best experiences I've felt! yey!
Thanks to 4c, i've become addicted to taking pictures so my multiply is bursting with them right now! Ito mga pics oh!!! hehe for more pics, just go to www.jynxedpanda.multiply.com

Something about long weeks and nearing the END..
PLUGS: Ate Kitty, Meredith, XYRYX
*UPDATE*
Eirene just tagged me!! Hahaa welcome back Eirene ah! Grabe inggit ako sa iyo!! hehe Belated Happy Birthday rin!! *hugz*! =)
Each player of this game starts with 6 weird things about you. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says you are tagged in their comments and tell them to read your blog.
mine starts here:
1. I love to eat mooncake with ice cream! I think I decided one day that my mooncake was a bit dry, so I grabbed the nearest thing on the table and it was our ice cream. I ate it heartily and it tastes GREAT!!
2. One of my idiosyncrasies is my addiction to calculator typing. If I get ahold of any calculator nearby, i'll immediately press its tiny keys.... *CLICK CLICK CLICK* People actually stared at me when I did this, people meaning classmates.
3. I am afraid of walking down....................stairs..... I'm so paranoid that I think I'll fall everytime I go down. I think it's because I feel down the stairs and yep, IT WAS FRIGGING PAINFUL!
4. I pushed a teacher? hahahaa!! accidentally of course! But no one can beat what Timms did, IDOL!!
5. Instead of using explicit words, I create or use milder phrases like crap, OH SHOOT, darn, ribbit, doggone it, what the??, and others... that I forgot..
6. When I was youngER, people thought that I actually came from America. Oh come on people, I've only been there once!
*END UPDATE*
Ugh, I thought Blogger had all the auto-saving drafts done for me so when I just closed my window... POOF goes my post! GREAT GREAT GREAT! haha That's why my title is like this, I kinda forgot the exact words but it was something like that. hahaha.
So am gonna make this post shorter than before because rewriting your earlier post is quite draining! haha. Well maybe i'll just list down the topics that I wrote a while ago:
1. I woke up to the screams of Paris' newborn puppies! Yep! Our little princess here gave birth via C-section to 4 healthy puppies! wee! They are soo adorable! Only their constant whining at night gets on my nerves......... Will post pics when they're a few weeks old nalang!
2. The past week has been long, filled with college reviews and practice for scouting graduation (which was yesterdaY! yey am officially a JL!) Am so paranoid about taking entrance exams because of one very TRAUMATIC event (involving an entrance exam). I just had a simulation exam last Friday and I got 142/200!! Which is just 71%! GRRR!! I think the Filipino part was the one that pulled me down. If it weren't for it, I would have been 84%! DARN YOU FILIPINO! Sorry, but filipino and me just don't click with each other.
3. I also attended the Judenites fieldtrip on Friday!! =) We went to ABS-CBN to see how everything works (and to catch a glimpse of the stars... too bad we didn't see a lot) We saw Kim Atienza the weatherman with his friendly bearded dragon! Seeing his pet made me remember my old pets, Rock and Spike, they were such a cute bearded dragon pair! Huhu... I haven't seen them in 7-8 years now... sniff.... I was very thankful when he let me pet them! Cute scaly friend! hehe
4. I just bought my new school shoes! They're a different style and hopefully more durable than the last pair. Those shoes were a reminder that my vacation (wait, did I even have a vacation????) is ALMOST OVER!
The new school year beckons a LOT OF CHANGES and I can only pray that these changes are for the better (I do love our newly painted and reconstructed classrooms! May whiteboard na rin kami! haha ala Ateneo ata) but I am just so scared. I'm scared of all the responsibilities, the challenges, the exams, the pressure and the expectations. My blog tells me not to worry though, coz I'll always be able to spill my guts to it. Let's all have a wonderful school year everyone! =)
Updates when I update! =) :cool

HISTORY:
I decided I'd make a history for my site so that you'd all know the whys and the hows. I will elaborate further when I have my REAL site one day. So when did this "addiction" start? Well it was many years ago (maybe not THAT many, about 2-3 years ago) when my keypal Kelli (HI KELLI!) told me to check out this thing. It turned out to be a xanga blog and I was intrigued but I wasn't interested in making one. After a year though, exactly on October 29, 2004, I came across Kelli's blog again and had a sudden itch to try it out. I signed up in xanga and wrote my very first entry. My URL was http://xanga.com/jynxypanda and it's still alive! Check it out if you want, I've transformed it into a photoblog of some sort. I started out with this PLAIN red and black template and of course, I eventually got bored with it. I then searched for skins both in createblog and blogskins. I was happy with xanga but then I saw Steph's new blog in blogger. I was amazed at her skills already in making layouts and HTML so I asked tips from her and then I started my blogger account. This was the time I started getting interested in HTML. Steph also referred to me Lissaexplains.com for tutorials and I researched on my own by reading this gigantic HTML manual at our house. I learned the basics and soon I was editing layouts. I wasn't much of a layout changer so Thief's Stolen Collections survived with only 2 premade layouts. Soon, I was getting BORED with premade layouts. I decided to practice my photoshop skills and make my own like Steph. At first, my layout was supposed to be a panda under cherry blossoms on a starry night EXCEPT the background image I used was copyrighted to kagaya.com only hence I wasn't able to use it. It was a beautiful layout for me though because I loved the violet colors and the panda. It took me a VERY LONG time to finish it but all my efforts proved to be in vain. The spark of making a layout vanished and was just recently revived. I was determined to make one and Winnie the Pooh came to my mind. Why Winnie the Pooh? I have no idea. Maybe it was because of him being a bear but anyways, Winnie the Pooh sounded good and voila!
PAST LAYOUTS
POOH'S PARADISE V.1
Born on: June 26, 2005
Well this was my very 1st layout so pardon for the childish image. It took me a very long time to think of what image to use. Winnie the Pooh just suddenly came to my mind and before I knew it, my hands were working on their own and this is the result! It lasted me for 5 months and I'm happy. =)
STARING UNDER THE SKY
Born on: Dec. 27, 2005
This is my 2nd layout featuring a vectorized (my first vector! Not too good..) bird (i'm not sure the species) on a branch staring under the velvet (violet) sky. When I was thinking of a new layout, I wanted it to have a touch of Christmas but not in the commercial way (gifts, lights etc). I wanted to show the true meaning of Christmas and I also wanted a layout that would last me for months (I'm a lazy bum.. hehe). Inspiration struck when our English teacher asked us to make a Korean Sijo (in English that is) and what i wrote about was a bird anticipating the birth of Christ. Though Christmas has gone, I still wish the feeling of Christmas will continue the whole year. This lasted me for a month (oMG 1 month lang?) but I may use it again. I really liked it! hehe
PINKISH BEAR REALITY
Given on: Jan. 4,2006
Added on: Jan. 27, 2006
This layout was a gift from my adorable online sister,
Ate Kitty! Isn't it beautiful? I was really surprised when she gave me this because I didn't know that anyone would go so much trouble for giving me a gift.. wahhz.. Love ya ate! :heart
