DLSU Computer Summer Camp 2007

I'm back after a LOONG AND FUUNNN WEEK! Another long and fun week you say?? haha!!

Okay, so what I'm going to do here now is dedicate this whole post to my fellow DLSU campers so this post will be entirely green if you know what I mean =)
So Monday was our first day. We were required to be there by 7 am but I was used to it since our training last last week required us to be at school around 6:45 am but for some reason, I was quite... late. I didn't realize that going to La Salle took a LONGER time so Jin and I arrived around 7:15 and we met Joan right outside the campus. We were the 31st, 32nd and 33rd people to go inside (they gave us these brown envelopes with numbers. COOL. haha!). We immediately saw Stephie and Unisse and yey of course we stuck together. I was quite amused when I found out why they required us to go there at 7am and it was because they had to take our photos! lolz Anyways, by the time it was 8am, they started handing out IDs with different color straps. I remember a big guy (si Kuya Arvin pala ito) going around holding a black ID strap and looking for the owner. I wasn't really expecting it to be mine because I was hoping to get a red one (i really like red.... hahaha~) but yep, it was mine!! It looks COOL though!
So when they started dividing us into teams, my face sort of turned greenish because I was separated with all my friends and I saw very different but somehow familiar faces (you have no idea how many people looked A LOT like my classmates/batchmates/friends). It was nerve-wracking too to be sort of one of the 2 only fairish girls in the black team but as the day progressed, the feeling of being in a new family (sort of like the feeling with your section) started to kick in. In my case, I was in the family BLACK team. =)
I don't think I'd be able to explain much of the feelings I experienced this week. I can't explain what it felt like meeting people of different backgrounds and habits and the feeling of being accepted like that. Like the first day, I was really surprised that I was able to get along well with students in Mirriam College, St. Peter, St. Stephen, UNO, Paco Manila, Lourdes, Jubilee, and a lot more. I became closest to Issa and Elysia and Karla during the first few days but then I started becoming closer to the rest of the guys and gals namely, Nikki, Dan, Jerico, Jerick, Engle, Alfred and Cyril. You have no idea how the phrase, "First Impressions Last" IS SO WRONG! It's not right to criticize people based on rumors or looks or even ethnicities. In the end, we're all just the same people, the same students who wanted to learn more about Computer.
This week at Computer Camp is one of the best experiences of my life and I am so thankful to the facilitators especially to my BLACK TEAM's: Ate Rech and Kuya Arvin:, Ate Erika and Kuya Adrian, and the profs and Sir Paul for putting this whole thing together! You guys have no idea how much I've learned here about Computers. Sayang dapat 1 month nalang! I've learned so many free softwares from Ma'm Kiran that I haven't finished downloading them all! And of course, she taught us an excellent way of making powerpoints! And I've learned finally to make 3D images! Thanks so much! Ang ganda rin ng "year cd" namin! whoot!
And of course, thanks so much to my new-found friends! (kahit hindi kayo nasa black team!) The BLACK and RED team have become a GREAT pair (naalala niyo ba guys ung Amazing Race sa first day! GRABE ANG SAYA!! tayo 1st!)! I also will never forget Bad Boy (i think you know that everyone calls you that? haha!), Eds, Danna, Kevin, Princess, Pat, Candice, Jerinae, Joyce , Den, Gemi and Adrian (remember the the TAYA group? haha we did a good job guys!!) and syempre the rest of the campers!! But, the BLACK TEAM, you guys are the special ones!! I'll never forget Alfred and Englebert's fooling around, the leadership of Dan (naks, St. La salle award!) the wackiness of Karla and Nikki, Jerico and Cyril (promil kid!), the suaveness of Jerick and the coolness of Issa and Elysia. (plus me to finish black team!) CONGRATS SA ATIN FOR BEING THE CHAMPION TEAM! WHOOT! (expression galing kay karla). Like what Dan said, "HAIL LA SALLE! HAIL THE BLACK TEAM!". Uy, reuion uli ah!!

Tired Splinters

I'm baack!! My hand hurts while I'm typing right but I'll still try to compose a sensible post. But my posts are never sensible, is it? lolz! hehee. Not only does my hand hurt from all the lashing (it's the process of tying bamboos together) but my whole body is sore from all the running around (obstacle course!!) This is what my training has been my friends. Terribly tiring but surprisingly fun! And plus we don't forget the fringe benefits (I lost weight DAW!! yey!) I'm happy with what I've done but of course there may have been some doubts concerning about my training in the beginning but I think that everything's OK now =) This is the farthest that I can talk about it because there's still one more day of training! It's really unfortunate that I can't go though! Now on to other things!!
Because of the training, I've been sleeping rather late therefore I couldn't check on my e-mails nor log-in my neopets or mylot! =( Good thing that I've been earning a little through referrals! hehee. I couldn't bloghop either so I'll try to do that later. I still have a lot of things to do... Sighs..
It's on to computer camp starting tomorrow~! Bobby says the dress code is sports attire but what does sports have anything to do with computers? I can just imagine myself racing against people while carrying computers. What a different sport eh? lolz! Then the week after is another training week for scouting and I'll be continuing my review classes. somehow, I kinda miss math (ugh!! did I just day that??!!) but still, I don't like it. I'm half-way done on the 2000 pc puzzle!!! Man, I really HAVE to find to finish it, not to mention my neglected books! TIME! WHERE ARE YOU???!!

I swear, my head is about to explode into scramblish smitereens any minute now!! ARGGHHH!!!!
Man, even my activities prevented me from blogging AND mylot! I wasn't able to open up any discussions on mylot nor replied to any. This must be the reason why my rating's descending instead of the other way around! But at least I have $5 already in my account and I only need $5 more to reach my minimum checout. And I also got 3 referrals! Yey! =) And I sold my Angus, Thongs BOOK (not the real kinds. lolz :haha) aleady so money's piling up. Now I just have to edit my joke and it's off to reader's digest for you!
I've finally graduated from Ateneo!! No, not from a course coz am still at high school but from their problem solving program. One thing that I can say about this program is..... it's FULL of problems which you really have to spend HOURS just to solve it therefore, the scrambled brain. Last Wednesday was our last day of lecture and we tackled on Mathematical models but I mostly spent time talking to my seatmate! lolz. But still, I think i learned more with a talking seatmate than absolute silence. But right after that, I went to Daynel's house to start prepping for our Junior Leadership training =) We already finished with our STA chart and Attendance chart and next, my job is to type the whole training proposal. I really do hope everything goes well. =) Goo OOZIES! lolz! What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear that word? It's nice to have feedback.
Thursday was graduation day (Ateneo thing) and I really really wondered how the heck will that run through because I didn't think we needed any but I was surprised because I learned a lot from Mrs. Queena's talk (dean of math and science i think) but it was really hard to LOOK at her because she EERILY resembles my first year adviser. Without the glasses though. Still, it was freaky.... Well so my cousins and I and a lot of Saint Jude people received our certificates! It ives you a warm feeling inside... lolz!

But my classes aren't over! I spent the whole Friday and Saturday studying Calc and reviewing for entrance exams that after 4th year, I just want to spend a WHOLE MONTH away from studies! Yep, that's the first thing I'm gonna do when I graduate high school (man it feels so weird saying that). Today's my only rest day coz my JLTC training starts next week. Then it's off to the greenlands for me and Bobby and next next week (La salle computer program).
I did have my fun moment though like after graduation, I tagged along with my cousins because they had their interview at Makati Gospel (they're gonna transfer schools) so my mom, dad and I went to the Fort! I FINALLY ate them delicious Krispy Kremes! Sorry I wasn't able to take any pictures because we devoured them easily. I swear, they taste like heaven! YUMMM.... We were also able to go Hobbes and Landes and bought some neat puzzles !I finally got my wish and I got a 2000 pc puzzle! We already finished almost 1/4 of it.
I've got some freaking sad news too.... Our 8-year old dog died yesterday from internal bleeding... just like Hollywood the first. She looked so cute pa rin and it pained me too see her in so much pain so I was a little glad when she was finally relieved. That's 5 dog deaths in one year and it's not even half the year yet. Wahhh pls God... :wah I'll continue to pray instead..

Randomization!

It's another day of math advance classes. Honestly, I have no idea why we're concentrating on geometry when I'm supposed to be studying advance algebra or at least pre-calculus. I did hear that they're gonna teach us financial education this week and I guess that'll be helpful =) We made snowflakes though using GeometrySketchPad. Totally cool! =) lolz
Yey I earned $4 now at mylot! I think this is a great achievement since only joining 4 days ago =) Basically I'm earning a dollar a day but who cares? It's still precious moolah and I'll try to bug my parents to give me a part time job. I'll also be selling some books so pls contact me if you're looking for something. =)
My cousins and I finished the kitchen puzzle a while ago and I'm soo happy! Good thing we'll be able to frame it at once since our neighbor is frames all. It's been a year since I built one and I'm gonna go find a new puzzle tonight! Mom just told us that we're going to podium later on! I'm hoping to find some disney characters or something medieval.
I've entered more online contest and am trying to test my luck. Both of them offer music players (Zune and Ipod video 80gb!!) and I hope everything goes well!
I just came home from the doctor and got some booster shots for the flu and typhoid fever. I'll be coming back in a month for hepa A and B AND Pneumonia which I heard HURTS LIKE HELL! I have to admit that I'm a bit wuss when getting my shots because I always anticipate the pain. Why am I like this? It's really so hard to be scared so often. I'm such a sissy... sniff... can you recommend a pill for becoming braver? hahaa =)
I've also got some awful news! Remember that I told you that I was playing Kingdom Hearts 2? I was already like 40% finished the game but then it stopped loading after the scene with Stitch at the control room! Why is it?? I also experienced SUPER LONG LOADING TIME and found out through mylot that I'm the only one experiencing this. I guess it's time to say bye bye to KH2. I'll have to buy another one (fake lang kasi. lolz) or maybe wait for the KH2+mix! It includes KH: Chain of memories that was only available to gameboy! So what to do...what to do??
Oh and my brother's off in his fantasy land again and he wants to buy this Jeep commander which he HOPES we can afford it. I gave him a lecture that he's already a college and doesn't have a part time job yet he wants to buy a JEEP? I know it has great mechanics and features (It's perfect for traveling and look it even has GPS and a comp in it!~) but he should at least help pay for it. I want to buy a DS or a PSP so I'm earning it. Does anyone have any odd jobs out there that you don't want to do? I'm willing to do it =)

My family just came home from mass and I've started doing "business" again. Well not exactly a real business. I've been trying to earn money online since Friday because... well I wanna earn myself some money and also maybe I could pay back my parents and help them earn too. Plus i have my eye on something... *hint hint *cough*DSlite*cough*.... so I've joined this great community discussion board where they pay YOU to post and discuss topics! My father, brother and I watched Sunshine last night.
I really wanted to watch Ang Cute ng Ina Mo with my mom but I recalled an article saying that you shouldn't have that much on Holy Week so I ditched comedy and turned dark. I mean you could hardly call a movie about sending 8 astronauts to their doom to save the dying sun, FUN right? Well it was a serious and deep movie which requires knowledge about the sun and some physics so I kept bugging my brother at some parts because I didn't know what the heck they were saying. It started out pretty boring enough, I mean they didn't show the launch or anything happy as that. No, they were sending their last video messages to home before they reach the dead zone where you can't contact Earth anymore. But as the movie progresses, the lives of the characters are slowly portrayed and we can see their dreams and hopes. It was really a touching movie despite the lead actor, Cillian Murphy looking creepy again (I mean he really creeps me out, ever since I saw him in Batman Begins). He did a really good job and I kind of admire the roles that he's played now. What really touched me in this movie was the religious elements of the movie. The goal of the crew was to literally create something and when you see that creation in the movie... it'll be mind-blowing! Seeing creation at its best, that's really something and you'll be able to see it in this movie. I can't even describe how majestic or amazing the experience felt, you have to watch it to know what I mean. I recommend this movie to everyone who's interested in sci-fi and those who feel depressed because it'll surely bring some sunshine in your life =)
Now on to real world!
Oh and the puzzle my cousins and I are doing is 1/4 finished! yipppeee!!! After I finish it, I swear, I am NEVER gonna buy any puzzles that has a kitchen in it! NEVER!!

Good Friday

Gahh Missed ya Meredith and Nadja! *high fives*! Sorry if I'm being dramatic, it's been so long! lolz. hehee =)
Well it's Good Friday everyone and 3pm just passed... i decided to pass a silent little prayer to God asking forgiveness. Hope ya all gave time to pray a little today =) Holy Week's always had meaning to me after watching Christ's life in the movies. It always brings me to tears so I always give a prayer for forgiveness. I did abstain today! Unlike last year's. hehe. It's all fish and noodles today (plus banana cake!) hehe
Since everything's closed, I stayed home the whole day, no vacation for us! I guess it's because we gotta abstain from the things we love. So I decided to abstain watching movies and reading books but I opened the internet and just browsed forums for part time jobs. I couldn't find any (just Mcdo) but I wanted to find something that could be done at home. I decided to sell some of my books and earrings and then I found www.mylot.com. Let's see what happens after a month. Will tell ya all the details!

Surprise surprise!!

I've been meaning to write since... I don't know. Well I've been meaning to write but I kept getting sidetracked and before I knew it, my bro's birthday has passed, March has passed, and these advance lessons have arrived! Arrghh and it's the Holy Week pete's sake! Oh well... I'll give everything to the Lord this week... My time and my work. I hope He's happy =) hehe
Oh and I just punk'd someone for the first time! I won't tell how or who but whoa, it's a nice feeling punking someone on April Fool's day! It wasn't that mean or anything but it's nice to let your naughty self out in the sun once in a while =) Hope ya had fun last April Fool's day! =)
Since my brother has pestered me long enough that I can't play a video game for more than a week without getting tired, I'm trying to finish Kingdom Hearts 2 for him. I can say that I am enjoying immensely, not only in proving him wrong but the perks of seeing all my fave disney characters alive once again! I just miss Simba, Ariel, Mickey, and everyone in Disney. Cartoons today aren't the same as they used to be. What happened to the beautiful and artistic animations and not to mention compelling stories now? Everyone just seems to be dishing out 3-D animal movies which don't even have a good story to tell! Sighs...
Congratulations to all the graduates of 2007!! Weee you all did an amazing job! I'll really miss this batch =) It feels weird being the oldest in the school.... creepers jeeperz!Oh and did I tell you that I'm the second honor in our class? Stephie also got it too! *told ya ya had Stephie! I knew you'd have it!* Congrats to us and all the honor students! yey!! =)

I've been the second-placer for 3 consecutive years now and I just don't know. I want to change that (for the better) this year. It is my last year after all so maybe I've grown an extra layer of thick skin and I'll be able to pull off what I want this year. I hope that the dropping of my medal on the middle on the stage meant something. (Yeah that medal-dropping-on-the-floor really DID happen and it was MORTIFYING) Like what my dad said, the medal probably screamed, "WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING ALL THIS TIME??" Or something like that... I was happy still though because I got a special award =) and my English grade finally reached 90 on the 4th quarter column! Yippee! I swore I'd get it and I did! yey!

, this month is going to be something special. Instead of feeling like a robot programmed to do every command my mother barks, this time I have a purpose. Everything for once seems worth the while. Everything seems to be REAL.
So surprise surprise! I'm not depressed THAT much anymore. I've even started reading one of dad's old presents (his presents equal to vocabulary word power books.. blech! ey don't tell him I said that! kidding! hehee) and enjoyed knowing that the word "courier" literally means "one who runs". It's either I'm not depressed or I've totally flipped my mind. I'd like to think of the former if you mind.. hehehe =)
Again.. I am such a dweeb. lolz!
I think I'll be posting some pics of our cute little puppies on my multiply to get my mind off everything... like the future for example...

HISTORY:
I decided I'd make a history for my site so that you'd all know the whys and the hows. I will elaborate further when I have my REAL site one day. So when did this "addiction" start? Well it was many years ago (maybe not THAT many, about 2-3 years ago) when my keypal Kelli (HI KELLI!) told me to check out this thing. It turned out to be a xanga blog and I was intrigued but I wasn't interested in making one. After a year though, exactly on October 29, 2004, I came across Kelli's blog again and had a sudden itch to try it out. I signed up in xanga and wrote my very first entry. My URL was http://xanga.com/jynxypanda and it's still alive! Check it out if you want, I've transformed it into a photoblog of some sort. I started out with this PLAIN red and black template and of course, I eventually got bored with it. I then searched for skins both in createblog and blogskins. I was happy with xanga but then I saw Steph's new blog in blogger. I was amazed at her skills already in making layouts and HTML so I asked tips from her and then I started my blogger account. This was the time I started getting interested in HTML. Steph also referred to me Lissaexplains.com for tutorials and I researched on my own by reading this gigantic HTML manual at our house. I learned the basics and soon I was editing layouts. I wasn't much of a layout changer so Thief's Stolen Collections survived with only 2 premade layouts. Soon, I was getting BORED with premade layouts. I decided to practice my photoshop skills and make my own like Steph. At first, my layout was supposed to be a panda under cherry blossoms on a starry night EXCEPT the background image I used was copyrighted to kagaya.com only hence I wasn't able to use it. It was a beautiful layout for me though because I loved the violet colors and the panda. It took me a VERY LONG time to finish it but all my efforts proved to be in vain. The spark of making a layout vanished and was just recently revived. I was determined to make one and Winnie the Pooh came to my mind. Why Winnie the Pooh? I have no idea. Maybe it was because of him being a bear but anyways, Winnie the Pooh sounded good and voila!

Well this was my very 1st layout so pardon for the childish image. It took me a very long time to think of what image to use. Winnie the Pooh just suddenly came to my mind and before I knew it, my hands were working on their own and this is the result! It lasted me for 5 months and I'm happy. =)
STARING UNDER THE SKY
Born on: Dec. 27, 2005
This is my 2nd layout featuring a vectorized (my first vector! Not too good..) bird (i'm not sure the species) on a branch staring under the velvet (violet) sky. When I was thinking of a new layout, I wanted it to have a touch of Christmas but not in the commercial way (gifts, lights etc). I wanted to show the true meaning of Christmas and I also wanted a layout that would last me for months (I'm a lazy bum.. hehe). Inspiration struck when our English teacher asked us to make a Korean Sijo (in English that is) and what i wrote about was a bird anticipating the birth of Christ. DLSU Computer Summer Camp 2007

I'm back after a LOONG AND FUUNNN WEEK! Another long and fun week you say?? haha!!

Okay, so what I'm going to do here now is dedicate this whole post to my fellow DLSU campers so this post will be entirely green if you know what I mean =)
So Monday was our first day. We were required to be there by 7 am but I was used to it since our training last last week required us to be at school around 6:45 am but for some reason, I was quite... late. I didn't realize that going to La Salle took a LONGER time so Jin and I arrived around 7:15 and we met Joan right outside the campus. We were the 31st, 32nd and 33rd people to go inside (they gave us these brown envelopes with numbers. COOL. haha!). We immediately saw Stephie and Unisse and yey of course we stuck together. I was quite amused when I found out why they required us to go there at 7am and it was because they had to take our photos! lolz Anyways, by the time it was 8am, they started handing out IDs with different color straps. I remember a big guy (si Kuya Arvin pala ito) going around holding a black ID strap and looking for the owner. I wasn't really expecting it to be mine because I was hoping to get a red one (i really like red.... hahaha~) but yep, it was mine!! It looks COOL though!
So when they started dividing us into teams, my face sort of turned greenish because I was separated with all my friends and I saw very different but somehow familiar faces (you have no idea how many people looked A LOT like my classmates/batchmates/friends). It was nerve-wracking too to be sort of one of the 2 only fairish girls in the black team but as the day progressed, the feeling of being in a new family (sort of like the feeling with your section) started to kick in. In my case, I was in the family BLACK team. =)
I don't think I'd be able to explain much of the feelings I experienced this week. I can't explain what it felt like meeting people of different backgrounds and habits and the feeling of being accepted like that. Like the first day, I was really surprised that I was able to get along well with students in Mirriam College, St. Peter, St. Stephen, UNO, Paco Manila, Lourdes, Jubilee, and a lot more. I became closest to Issa and Elysia and Karla during the first few days but then I started becoming closer to the rest of the guys and gals namely, Nikki, Dan, Jerico, Jerick, Engle, Alfred and Cyril. You have no idea how the phrase, "First Impressions Last" IS SO WRONG! It's not right to criticize people based on rumors or looks or even ethnicities. In the end, we're all just the same people, the same students who wanted to learn more about Computer.
This week at Computer Camp is one of the best experiences of my life and I am so thankful to the facilitators especially to my BLACK TEAM's: Ate Rech and Kuya Arvin:, Ate Erika and Kuya Adrian, and the profs and Sir Paul for putting this whole thing together! You guys have no idea how much I've learned here about Computers. Sayang dapat 1 month nalang! I've learned so many free softwares from Ma'm Kiran that I haven't finished downloading them all! And of course, she taught us an excellent way of making powerpoints! And I've learned finally to make 3D images! Thanks so much! Ang ganda rin ng "year cd" namin! whoot!
And of course, thanks so much to my new-found friends! (kahit hindi kayo nasa black team!) The BLACK and RED team have become a GREAT pair (naalala niyo ba guys ung Amazing Race sa first day! GRABE ANG SAYA!! tayo 1st!)! I also will never forget Bad Boy (i think you know that everyone calls you that? haha!), Eds, Danna, Kevin, Princess, Pat, Candice, Jerinae, Joyce , Den, Gemi and Adrian (remember the the TAYA group? haha we did a good job guys!!) and syempre the rest of the campers!! But, the BLACK TEAM, you guys are the special ones!! I'll never forget Alfred and Englebert's fooling around, the leadership of Dan (naks, St. La salle award!) the wackiness of Karla and Nikki, Jerico and Cyril (promil kid!), the suaveness of Jerick and the coolness of Issa and Elysia. (plus me to finish black team!) CONGRATS SA ATIN FOR BEING THE CHAMPION TEAM! WHOOT! (expression galing kay karla). Like what Dan said, "HAIL LA SALLE! HAIL THE BLACK TEAM!". Uy, reuion uli ah!!

Tired Splinters

I'm baack!! My hand hurts while I'm typing right but I'll still try to compose a sensible post. But my posts are never sensible, is it? lolz! hehee. Not only does my hand hurt from all the lashing (it's the process of tying bamboos together) but my whole body is sore from all the running around (obstacle course!!) This is what my training has been my friends. Terribly tiring but surprisingly fun! And plus we don't forget the fringe benefits (I lost weight DAW!! yey!) I'm happy with what I've done but of course there may have been some doubts concerning about my training in the beginning but I think that everything's OK now =) This is the farthest that I can talk about it because there's still one more day of training! It's really unfortunate that I can't go though! Now on to other things!!
Because of the training, I've been sleeping rather late therefore I couldn't check on my e-mails nor log-in my neopets or mylot! =( Good thing that I've been earning a little through referrals! hehee. I couldn't bloghop either so I'll try to do that later. I still have a lot of things to do... Sighs..
It's on to computer camp starting tomorrow~! Bobby says the dress code is sports attire but what does sports have anything to do with computers? I can just imagine myself racing against people while carrying computers. What a different sport eh? lolz! Then the week after is another training week for scouting and I'll be continuing my review classes. somehow, I kinda miss math (ugh!! did I just day that??!!) but still, I don't like it. I'm half-way done on the 2000 pc puzzle!!! Man, I really HAVE to find to finish it, not to mention my neglected books! TIME! WHERE ARE YOU???!!

I swear, my head is about to explode into scramblish smitereens any minute now!! ARGGHHH!!!!
Man, even my activities prevented me from blogging AND mylot! I wasn't able to open up any discussions on mylot nor replied to any. This must be the reason why my rating's descending instead of the other way around! But at least I have $5 already in my account and I only need $5 more to reach my minimum checout. And I also got 3 referrals! Yey! =) And I sold my Angus, Thongs BOOK (not the real kinds. lolz :haha) aleady so money's piling up. Now I just have to edit my joke and it's off to reader's digest for you!
I've finally graduated from Ateneo!! No, not from a course coz am still at high school but from their problem solving program. One thing that I can say about this program is..... it's FULL of problems which you really have to spend HOURS just to solve it therefore, the scrambled brain. Last Wednesday was our last day of lecture and we tackled on Mathematical models but I mostly spent time talking to my seatmate! lolz. But still, I think i learned more with a talking seatmate than absolute silence. But right after that, I went to Daynel's house to start prepping for our Junior Leadership training =) We already finished with our STA chart and Attendance chart and next, my job is to type the whole training proposal. I really do hope everything goes well. =) Goo OOZIES! lolz! What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear that word? It's nice to have feedback.
Thursday was graduation day (Ateneo thing) and I really really wondered how the heck will that run through because I didn't think we needed any but I was surprised because I learned a lot from Mrs. Queena's talk (dean of math and science i think) but it was really hard to LOOK at her because she EERILY resembles my first year adviser. Without the glasses though. Still, it was freaky.... Well so my cousins and I and a lot of Saint Jude people received our certificates! It ives you a warm feeling inside... lolz!

But my classes aren't over! I spent the whole Friday and Saturday studying Calc and reviewing for entrance exams that after 4th year, I just want to spend a WHOLE MONTH away from studies! Yep, that's the first thing I'm gonna do when I graduate high school (man it feels so weird saying that). Today's my only rest day coz my JLTC training starts next week. Then it's off to the greenlands for me and Bobby and next next week (La salle computer program).
I did have my fun moment though like after graduation, I tagged along with my cousins because they had their interview at Makati Gospel (they're gonna transfer schools) so my mom, dad and I went to the Fort! I FINALLY ate them delicious Krispy Kremes! Sorry I wasn't able to take any pictures because we devoured them easily. I swear, they taste like heaven! YUMMM.... We were also able to go Hobbes and Landes and bought some neat puzzles !I finally got my wish and I got a 2000 pc puzzle! We already finished almost 1/4 of it.
I've got some freaking sad news too.... Our 8-year old dog died yesterday from internal bleeding... just like Hollywood the first. She looked so cute pa rin and it pained me too see her in so much pain so I was a little glad when she was finally relieved. That's 5 dog deaths in one year and it's not even half the year yet. Wahhh pls God... :wah I'll continue to pray instead..

Randomization!

It's another day of math advance classes. Honestly, I have no idea why we're concentrating on geometry when I'm supposed to be studying advance algebra or at least pre-calculus. I did hear that they're gonna teach us financial education this week and I guess that'll be helpful =) We made snowflakes though using GeometrySketchPad. Totally cool! =) lolz
Yey I earned $4 now at mylot! I think this is a great achievement since only joining 4 days ago =) Basically I'm earning a dollar a day but who cares? It's still precious moolah and I'll try to bug my parents to give me a part time job. I'll also be selling some books so pls contact me if you're looking for something. =)
My cousins and I finished the kitchen puzzle a while ago and I'm soo happy! Good thing we'll be able to frame it at once since our neighbor is frames all. It's been a year since I built one and I'm gonna go find a new puzzle tonight! Mom just told us that we're going to podium later on! I'm hoping to find some disney characters or something medieval.
I've entered more online contest and am trying to test my luck. Both of them offer music players (Zune and Ipod video 80gb!!) and I hope everything goes well!
I just came home from the doctor and got some booster shots for the flu and typhoid fever. I'll be coming back in a month for hepa A and B AND Pneumonia which I heard HURTS LIKE HELL! I have to admit that I'm a bit wuss when getting my shots because I always anticipate the pain. Why am I like this? It's really so hard to be scared so often. I'm such a sissy... sniff... can you recommend a pill for becoming braver? hahaa =)
I've also got some awful news! Remember that I told you that I was playing Kingdom Hearts 2? I was already like 40% finished the game but then it stopped loading after the scene with Stitch at the control room! Why is it?? I also experienced SUPER LONG LOADING TIME and found out through mylot that I'm the only one experiencing this. I guess it's time to say bye bye to KH2. I'll have to buy another one (fake lang kasi. lolz) or maybe wait for the KH2+mix! It includes KH: Chain of memories that was only available to gameboy! So what to do...what to do??
Oh and my brother's off in his fantasy land again and he wants to buy this Jeep commander which he HOPES we can afford it. I gave him a lecture that he's already a college and doesn't have a part time job yet he wants to buy a JEEP? I know it has great mechanics and features (It's perfect for traveling and look it even has GPS and a comp in it!~) but he should at least help pay for it. I want to buy a DS or a PSP so I'm earning it. Does anyone have any odd jobs out there that you don't want to do? I'm willing to do it =)

My father, brother and I watched Sunshine last night.
I really wanted to watch Ang Cute ng Ina Mo with my mom but I recalled an article saying that you shouldn't have that much on Holy Week so I ditched comedy and turned dark. I mean you could hardly call a movie about sending 8 astronauts to their doom to save the dying sun, FUN right? Well it was a serious and deep movie which requires knowledge about the sun and some physics so I kept bugging my brother at some parts because I didn't know what the heck they were saying. It started out pretty boring enough, I mean they didn't show the launch or anything happy as that. No, they were sending their last video messages to home before they reach the dead zone where you can't contact Earth anymore. But as the movie progresses, the lives of the characters are slowly portrayed and we can see their dreams and hopes. It was really a touching movie despite the lead actor, Cillian Murphy looking creepy again (I mean he really creeps me out, ever since I saw him in Batman Begins). He did a really good job and I kind of admire the roles that he's played now. What really touched me in this movie was the religious elements of the movie. The goal of the crew was to literally create something and when you see that creation in the movie... it'll be mind-blowing! Seeing creation at its best, that's really something and you'll be able to see it in this movie. I can't even describe how majestic or amazing the experience felt, you have to watch it to know what I mean. I recommend this movie to everyone who's interested in sci-fi and those who feel depressed because it'll surely bring some sunshine in your life =)
Now on to real world!
Oh and the puzzle my cousins and I are doing is 1/4 finished! yipppeee!!! After I finish it, I swear, I am NEVER gonna buy any puzzles that has a kitchen in it! NEVER!!

Good Friday

Gahh Missed ya Meredith and Nadja! *high fives*! Sorry if I'm being dramatic, it's been so long! lolz. hehee =)
Well it's Good Friday everyone and 3pm just passed... i decided to pass a silent little prayer to God asking forgiveness. Hope ya all gave time to pray a little today =) Holy Week's always had meaning to me after watching Christ's life in the movies. It always brings me to tears so I always give a prayer for forgiveness. I did abstain today! Unlike last year's. hehe. It's all fish and noodles today (plus banana cake!) hehe
Since everything's closed, I stayed home the whole day, no vacation for us! I guess it's because we gotta abstain from the things we love. So I decided to abstain watching movies and reading books but I opened the internet and just browsed forums for part time jobs. I couldn't find any (just Mcdo) but I wanted to find something that could be done at home. I decided to sell some of my books and earrings and then I found www.mylot.com. Let's see what happens after a month. Will tell ya all the details!

Surprise surprise!!

I've been meaning to write since... I don't know. Well I've been meaning to write but I kept getting sidetracked and before I knew it, my bro's birthday has passed, March has passed, and these advance lessons have arrived! Arrghh and it's the Holy Week pete's sake! Oh well... I'll give everything to the Lord this week... My time and my work. I hope He's happy =) hehe
Oh and I just punk'd someone for the first time! I won't tell how or who but whoa, it's a nice feeling punking someone on April Fool's day! It wasn't that mean or anything but it's nice to let your naughty self out in the sun once in a while =) Hope ya had fun last April Fool's day! =)
Since my brother has pestered me long enough that I can't play a video game for more than a week without getting tired, I'm trying to finish Kingdom Hearts 2 for him. I can say that I am enjoying immensely, not only in proving him wrong but the perks of seeing all my fave disney characters alive once again! I just miss Simba, Ariel, Mickey, and everyone in Disney. Cartoons today aren't the same as they used to be. What happened to the beautiful and artistic animations and not to mention compelling stories now? Everyone just seems to be dishing out 3-D animal movies which don't even have a good story to tell! Sighs...
Congratulations to all the graduates of 2007!! Weee you all did an amazing job! I'll really miss this batch =) It feels weird being the oldest in the school.... creepers jeeperz!Oh and did I tell you that I'm the second honor in our class? I've been the second-placer for 3 consecutive years now and I just don't know. I want to change that (for the better) this year. It is my last year after all so maybe I've grown an extra layer of thick skin and I'll be able to pull off what I want this year. I hope that the dropping of my medal on the middle on the stage meant something. (Yeah that medal-dropping-on-the-floor really DID happen and it was MORTIFYING) Like what my dad said, the medal probably screamed, "WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING ALL THIS TIME??" Or something like that... I was happy still though because I got a special award =) and my English grade finally reached 90 on the 4th quarter column! Yippee! I swore I'd get it and I did! yey!

, this month is going to be something special. Instead of feeling like a robot programmed to do every command my mother barks, this time I have a purpose. Everything for once seems worth the while. Everything seems to be REAL.
So surprise surprise! I'm not depressed THAT much anymore. I've even started reading one of dad's old presents (his presents equal to vocabulary word power books.. blech! ey don't tell him I said that! kidding! hehee) and enjoyed knowing that the word "courier" literally means "one who runs". It's either I'm not depressed or I've totally flipped my mind. I'd like to think of the former if you mind.. hehehe =)
Again.. I am such a dweeb. lolz!
I think I'll be posting some pics of our cute little puppies on my multiply to get my mind off everything... like the future for example...
