Offline??
Before I start anything, I wanna thank Ate Val for her wonderful gift! hehee and haven't thanked Ate Rose's gift for me rin pala! I love you my Ates!!! :heart Ang gagaling niyo talaga!! :heart
If you guys haven't noticed, I have been offline these days due to activities. :wah It's either I'm at the gym (1 hour muay thai is torture!!! :wah but worth it!), school (school? during summer? I'm handling the class' clearance and I need our teachers' signatures! :wah), advance class (even if it's at home, it still uses up my time.. doubel :wah) and malling so I'm having trouble balancing my time. I'm such a bad organizer! I wonder why the heck I'm a batch officer and why I'm the 2nd honor in my class (2nd honor pala ako guys! Gagalingan ko sa 3rd year! They have big expectations of me for the next 2 years fo I better make it good..). It's just a wonder... And also I've become addicted to Sims2: Open for Business... But today, I think I'm free and maybe I'll start making a new lay. I'm still thinking of a good theme and I have tons but it's so hard to choose! gack... Well hopefully there'll be somethingn worthwhile to see in my next post.. *crosses fingers* :hehe
Man, I miss Pinaytalk! I'll go visit now. See ya guys!!! =) Sorry for the boring post, which is just a preview of my boring life... What's happening in your life now? I hope that you're having a much much much better (wrong grammar but it's the best way to express it..) time. Heheee

Celebrate!!
*sings* "Celebrate good times come on!" :haha lolz
Am in a party mood! Who wouldn't be when I just ate 2 DINNERS (well didn't eat that much on the second dinner, only soup and a few shrimps and fruits) yesterday! Nako! Pano na ako papayat?? :dead Oh well... hehee.
I'm sorry if I wan't able to blog that much or change the layout or anything, it's coz my thoughts were too occupied with our class get together (at Gerry's Grill greenhills! Promenade! wahoo!). I was undecidedly the main organizer so I had to call people up and some were even away! So I was too panicky to do anything. (hopefully by next week I will have changed the layout already.. ahehee :hehe) But all that work was worth it! Yesterday *early dinner was probably one of the most memorable events of my life! Our class (though incomplete... :wah hindi makapunta iyong iba..) was once again reunited and chatted the whole eveing! Our adviser, Sir Cabs (symepre nandun ung father namin! lolz :yap) along with Mrs. Aguinaldo and Ms. Laurio also came and that was double the fun! Too bad we had 2 tables so we couldn't to everyone during dinner but we had fun especially when it was the awards time! (ang ingay namin dun sa resto! lolz) :hehe And of course the speeches! Grabe, natouch ako sa mga sinabi ni Sir and the other guys. Sana ganun pa rin tayo kaclose next year ah! Nothing will change! Love ya guys!!! :heart Special mentions to Chairmy (whatever you say, you're still a crazy chair! heehee), Daynel(******!!!! hehe :haha), Jocla, Keithcat, Jenni and the gang and our teachers! :heart
So after 7pm, we went to take pics (kodak moment! of course we need pics!) and went to Starbucks. Good thing we were able to fit but unfortunately Chairmy and I had to go (sumabay siya sa akin :hehe) to Honey's party (to celebrate her being the 2nd honorable mention in the batch) and that's how I got to have 2 dinners.. Heehee :hehe. Thanks for the food Honey and CONGRATS!! *hugz*! :heart
Today, I think I'm gonna eat a lot again coz it's my bro's graduation today and you know what comes right after graduations right?? FOOD! :dead so now I just have to control myself (buffet pa naman!! :wah) before I get sick :sick Haayzz, wish me luck! And CONGRATS to bro!! Have to go now guyz! =) Ciao! :yap

Title..
I can't think of an ingenious title so I just wrote Title.. Here shows my lack of imagination and creativity...:haha I've been meaning to post but kept putting it off but when I saw Ate Jhesca's comment... I thought of posting! heeheee :hehe
I haven't linked pinaytalk pa pala! wahh silly me! :hihi It's probably the best forum I've ever joined since I know some of the people there from the net and it's really a very interesting place! Just for pinays.. heehee so go and join now!:yap

My summer's been good so far. No troubles yet and I've taken up quite a few activities! I've started going to the gym and enrolled in a muay thai (kickboxing.. i think) to ahem, slim down. Gotta lose those pounds you know.. heehe.:haha The only disadvantage is groaning in pain now and then. My mom has also started letting me have advance lessons in chemistry and geometry (torture!! :grr aral ako for the whole year.. wahhzz). We started yesterday and it's only 2 hours, 3x a week.. that's good right? Maybe not.. :wah sighs... gotta bear with it na lang. =) Just keep swimming just keep swimming...:hehe
I watched V for Vendetta last Sunday and I could say that it's a dark, and intelligent film. There's also something poignant about it. The story also has a very interesting plot because in here, you have an unlikely hero: a terrorist who hides behind a scary smiling mask. I won't delve too much into the details coz I don't want to spoil you guys. I really liked this movie for being different. And napaiyak :wah rin ako in some points because of thinking, what could have been kung hindi nangyari iyon. I recommend it for those who are interested of seeing a different kind of movie!:yap
Now I'll try to watch what Ate Nix recommended. I'm thinking of Shaggy Dog coz i love dogs! wee! Cute rin ng aso doon di ba? hehee:hehe
I miss 2C, darn... ey guys! :wah Don't forget our outing sa Friday ah! Pls spread the word! And I'm thinking.. gusto niyo ba sa libis or greenhills?? Sobrang ata layo kung libis... Oh well..:hehe

HK adventure!

I'm currently thinking how I'm gonna put 4 days of adventure into one brief, concise and comprehensible blog entry... Let me think for a moment......

Ah yes! I've got it! Actually I don't really know...
Day 1 (Mar 12, Sun):
Woke up at 4 AM still groggy and still shocked that after 5 year hiatus from riding planes, I am actually going to land on foreign soil in just about 4 hours. :wow Whoa, "indescribable feeling". :hihi Since we were going on Cathay, we had to use the old airport but I didn't care coz that's where I used to go all the time and it brought back memories :heart So after 4 hours (of chewing gum), I've finally arrived in HongKong! Whoppee!! :yay
Just arrived in HK and waiting for the bus! :hehe
I only slept for 3 hours but I didn't feel a bit drowsy, maybe due to the excitement and the cold! It was about 22 C degrees and it was a bit bearable. What we did was hit the shops! I've always know HongKong as a shopping district and it certainly is! I mean, shopping in HK is very different from the Philippines. It seems that everyone is fashionable or something. It's probably because they have 4 seasons and have a variety of clothes to choose from! So imagine the wonder I felt when I step into their shops. From hats to shoes to accessories and even utilites, all of them had an"awesome" imprinted on them! I was glad that nothing has changed much from where we were staying. The old mall (that has been renovated a little) is still there, the shop were we always bought "am-be" or lugaw or congee is still there (still delicious!) and TOYS R US is still there! Hahaa, i sound like such a kid but I guess I still am. We went there everyday by the way. Lolz. heehee. So we just spent looking around shops on this day and I bought this soffttyy worm pillow! I'll post a pic soon! Just watch out for them in my flickr! :hehe And we also bought this "belt" thing that's supposed to "descrease your waistline, improve bowel movement, and etc" I think it's working.. I just think... heehee
Day 2 (Mar 13, Mon)
Brrr! Woke up with my feet screaming cold! This was the day that the temp hit 9 degrees! And unluckily, this was also the day for Disneyland. Now I have finally understood what "cold daggers, cold as ice, frozen feet, etc meant. I didn't care though coz I was slowly reaching my goal: To travel to all the Disneylands in the whole world! So far, I've been to 2! Hahahaa :haha Am such a crazy girl :bleh heehee
It was a long ride going to Disney, it took about 40 mins or so by taking the MTR (MRT??) Disney had its own MRT (MTR??) :huh and it had gold statuettes on the sides of the train! Hehee, soo cool! :cool
We didn't get to ride much, just took a lot of pics and shop (man, I now look like a shopaholic) more. I bought this cute little plush keychains and a mickey mouse ear with hat hairband.
OOPS! This isn't what I bought but hope you guys like it! :haha
I'll just post more pics instead of narrating everything. I only got on 2 rides and 2 shows! Wahh... :wah Puro kiddie rides naman daw sabi ni Keith. aheehee The teacups and space mountain. Good thing the Parade was going on or else we would have waited a very LOOONNGG time! heehee. Will post the funny pic maybe tom! hehee. :hehe

Day 3 and 4 (Mar 14 & 15, Tues and Wed)
Hmm... so basically what we did between these days were shop, eat (i got to eat snake again! gross u thinkso? Actually, it tasted like chicken and yum! But I do pity the snakes....), shop (I was able to buy these adorable dog and cat earrings!), eat (chinese food galore! Love it even though it burnt my tongue.. Good thing it's healing...), shop (Everything's a temptation and it took every ounce of willpower in me not to buy everything! I couldn't buy everything anyway coz my mom didn't allow me to buy those sanrio stuffs, deeming them as "useless and impractical". So I was only able to buy 1 stuff toy... Sniff). So after spending moolahs, I have resolved to not spend a CENT for a month or so! Help me keep this resolution peepz! Am not gonna eat too. Lolz. :haha
I had a very very very fun time and I couldn't believe that I'm back again. I couldn't believe that I was back in dusty, noisy (well the stoplight in Hk was noisy..) Manila (I still love it here though! Even though it's hot..) Travelling (and shopping!) is certainly a remedy to all your problems coz I seriously forgot everything there. There you could sit back and relax and worry later. But of course, it does have to end at some point. I just wish it happened later.. Oh well, I am soo thankful to the Lord for giving me this opportunity again! THANKS!!!! :yap
Before I end everything, our senior scouts had their farewell party a while ago and I just wanna say THANKS for everything. Kahit hindi scouts, thanks sa lahat! I'll truly miss all of you guys especially those fun times we had! You guys have been a terrific and supportive sister batch and the best that we could have had! YOU GUYS ROCK! Wahh :wah I'll miss you! Good luck on your future guys! I'll be rooting for ye!! :yap
And then to my 2c family, I LOVE YOU GUYS!! Wahhz, I'll miss all of u!! Sana next year magkasama uli tayo!! I wish that I could say something to you guys individually and personally how special you guys are. I'll just write something in groups. I'm not sure if you want me to post something here. hehee. Well, goodbye is definitely the hardest word to say...:wah

HISTORY:
I decided I'd make a history for my site so that you'd all know the whys and the hows. I will elaborate further when I have my REAL site one day. So when did this "addiction" start? Well it was many years ago (maybe not THAT many, about 2-3 years ago) when my keypal Kelli (HI KELLI!) told me to check out this thing. It turned out to be a xanga blog and I was intrigued but I wasn't interested in making one. After a year though, exactly on October 29, 2004, I came across Kelli's blog again and had a sudden itch to try it out. I signed up in xanga and wrote my very first entry. My URL was http://xanga.com/jynxypanda and it's still alive! Check it out if you want, I've transformed it into a photoblog of some sort. I started out with this PLAIN red and black template and of course, I eventually got bored with it. I then searched for skins both in createblog and blogskins. I was happy with xanga but then I saw Steph's new blog in blogger. I was amazed at her skills already in making layouts and HTML so I asked tips from her and then I started my blogger account. This was the time I started getting interested in HTML. Steph also referred to me Lissaexplains.com for tutorials and I researched on my own by reading this gigantic HTML manual at our house. I learned the basics and soon I was editing layouts. I wasn't much of a layout changer so Thief's Stolen Collections survived with only 2 premade layouts. Soon, I was getting BORED with premade layouts. I decided to practice my photoshop skills and make my own like Steph. At first, my layout was supposed to be a panda under cherry blossoms on a starry night EXCEPT the background image I used was copyrighted to kagaya.com only hence I wasn't able to use it. It was a beautiful layout for me though because I loved the violet colors and the panda. It took me a VERY LONG time to finish it but all my efforts proved to be in vain. The spark of making a layout vanished and was just recently revived. I was determined to make one and Winnie the Pooh came to my mind. Why Winnie the Pooh? I have no idea. Maybe it was because of him being a bear but anyways, Winnie the Pooh sounded good and voila!

Well this was my very 1st layout so pardon for the childish image. It took me a very long time to think of what image to use. Winnie the Pooh just suddenly came to my mind and before I knew it, my hands were working on their own and this is the result! It lasted me for 5 months and I'm happy. =)
STARING UNDER THE SKY
Born on: Dec. 27, 2005
This is my 2nd layout featuring a vectorized (my first vector! Not too good..) bird (i'm not sure the species) on a branch staring under the velvet (violet) sky. When I was thinking of a new layout, I wanted it to have a touch of Christmas but not in the commercial way (gifts, lights etc). I wanted to show the true meaning of Christmas and I also wanted a layout that would last me for months (I'm a lazy bum.. hehe). Inspiration struck when our English teacher asked us to make a Korean Sijo (in English that is) and what i wrote about was a bird anticipating the birth of Christ. Though Christmas has gone, I still wish the feeling of Christmas will continue the whole year. This lasted me for a month (oMG 1 month lang?) but I may use it again. I really liked it! hehe

Day 2 (Mar 13, Mon)
Brrr! Woke up with my feet screaming cold! This was the day that the temp hit 9 degrees! And unluckily, this was also the day for Disneyland. Now I have finally understood what "cold daggers, cold as ice, frozen feet, etc meant. I didn't care though coz I was slowly reaching my goal: To travel to all the Disneylands in the whole world! So far, I've been to 2! Hahahaa :haha Am such a crazy girl :bleh heehee
It was a long ride going to Disney, it took about 40 mins or so by taking the MTR (MRT??) Disney had its own MRT (MTR??) :huh and it had gold statuettes on the sides of the train! Hehee, soo cool! :cool
We didn't get to ride much, just took a lot of pics and shop (man, I now look like a shopaholic) more. I bought this cute little plush keychains and a mickey mouse ear with hat hairband.
OOPS! This isn't what I bought but hope you guys like it! :haha
I'll just post more pics instead of narrating everything. I only got on 2 rides and 2 shows! Wahh... :wah Puro kiddie rides naman daw sabi ni Keith. aheehee The teacups and space mountain. Good thing the Parade was going on or else we would have waited a very LOOONNGG time! heehee. Will post the funny pic maybe tom! hehee. :hehe

Day 3 and 4 (Mar 14 & 15, Tues and Wed)
Hmm... so basically what we did between these days were shop, eat (i got to eat snake again! gross u thinkso? Actually, it tasted like chicken and yum! But I do pity the snakes....), shop (I was able to buy these adorable dog and cat earrings!), eat (chinese food galore! Love it even though it burnt my tongue.. Good thing it's healing...), shop (Everything's a temptation and it took every ounce of willpower in me not to buy everything! I couldn't buy everything anyway coz my mom didn't allow me to buy those sanrio stuffs, deeming them as "useless and impractical". So I was only able to buy 1 stuff toy... Sniff). So after spending moolahs, I have resolved to not spend a CENT for a month or so! Help me keep this resolution peepz! Am not gonna eat too. Lolz. :haha
I had a very very very fun time and I couldn't believe that I'm back again. I couldn't believe that I was back in dusty, noisy (well the stoplight in Hk was noisy..) Manila (I still love it here though! Even though it's hot..) Travelling (and shopping!) is certainly a remedy to all your problems coz I seriously forgot everything there. There you could sit back and relax and worry later. But of course, it does have to end at some point. I just wish it happened later.. Oh well, I am soo thankful to the Lord for giving me this opportunity again! THANKS!!!! :yap
Before I end everything, our senior scouts had their farewell party a while ago and I just wanna say THANKS for everything. Kahit hindi scouts, thanks sa lahat! I'll truly miss all of you guys especially those fun times we had! You guys have been a terrific and supportive sister batch and the best that we could have had! YOU GUYS ROCK! Wahh :wah I'll miss you! Good luck on your future guys! I'll be rooting for ye!! :yap
And then to my 2c family, I LOVE YOU GUYS!! Wahhz, I'll miss all of u!! Sana next year magkasama uli tayo!! I wish that I could say something to you guys individually and personally how special you guys are. I'll just write something in groups. I'm not sure if you want me to post something here. hehee. Well, goodbye is definitely the hardest word to say...:wah
